What is the strongest Vanilla scented mens cologne?

I've recently found a Vanilla scented toilet air freshener that I love the scent of! I like the scent of this more than the majority of colognes I own! lol...

What mens colognes are there with a dominant Vanilla fragrance with good projection and silage? Something similar to Dior Hypnotic Poison

Eau des Baux will meet your requirements handily. But you could always try annointing yourself with that toilet air freshener just for the fun..unless a rash breaks out

Vanille Orientale by Le Senteurs Gourmands

Tobacco Vanille.

Spiritueuse double vanille is boozy and extremely strong - but unpleasantly so. But many people love it.

The standard for me remains Caron pour un homme, or, more in general, old auntie Shalimar, still great and still wearable by men.

Ah that looks good from the notes! Again doesn't look available around here

I like Rochas Man and Michael Jordan Legend. Nice and simple.

Also, don't be afraid to wear Hypnotic Poison, which you mentioned. It can easily be a unisex fragrance and it's one of my personal favorites. I prefer it over Le Male or just about any other masculine vanilla I've tried.

I forgot about Vanille Absolument.

Pi is actually benzoin, but smells like vanilla to a strong degree and is widely available. Check it and see if it meets your needs.

I thought Tobacco Vanille is unisex. A cigar stubbed out in the melted scoop of vanilla ice cream that fell out of the cone. Pretty strong admittedly.

Vanilla Bourbon by Laurence Dumont , impossible to remove for 24 hours....

Whats PI short for?

Ive wanted to try Tobacco Vanille for ages now but cant find samples anywhere here. Also twice as much as I like to spend on fragrances

Guerlain SDV has the best projection and sillage of any vanilla I've tried. Good God, even when I just use two or three sprays, my mom makes a face the second I walk into a room (she doesn't care for vanilla).

Anything more than three sprays at most and you're going to be a dense vanilla cloud for hours and hours.

I'm currently wearing Eau Duelle, which projects and lasts very nicely as well. Put it on eight to ten hours ago, and it's still clearly here.

For Pi, he's talking about Givenchy's Pi. It's ok, and is sweet, but to me, doesn't really smell like vanilla. It smells more ambery to me and kind of dated. (more like a sweet scent from the past, before the current, more realistic gourmand trend). It kind of reminds me of some sort of candy I had as a kid. It also kind of reminds me of those chewable children's orange aspirin pills for some reason). Anyway, it's worth a try, but it's not really a true, edible vanilla type scent.

Guerlain SDV is a vanilla beast, but may not quite fit what you mean by "mens"

Tobacco Vanille is a little more masculine than SDV, and also a beast, as is Eau Des Baux.

It's on the Australian L'Occitane website if that helps.

Other good vanillas: Mona di Orio (but expensive), Tom Ford Noir, Musc Ravageur.

I agree with many of the aforementioned scents, especially Caron pour un Homme and Pi. Though very different amongst each other, they both have one feature in common: extremely good strength and longevity, at least to my nose and on my skin.

Havana Vanille by L Artisan Parfumeur -I found it to be a very thick vanilla parfume.
Shalimar Eau de Parfum

The great Tobacco Vanille

I cannot believe that no-one has mentioned the almighty Jaïpur Homme de Boucheron.
In the EdP concentration, you'll find one of the most beautiful and strong male vanillas.

Another vote for Tobacco Vanille. Though Eau des Baux would fulfill your needs at a much lower price point (IMHO it's a beautiful scent for winter and very reasonably priced)

I agree. A beautiful frag!

You're right. That one slipped past me. The crazy thing is I just purchased a bottle a few weeks ago.

Vanitas by Profumum is, by far, the most potent vanilla fragrance I've tried to date.

Just put some Raw Vanilla by Coty in an atomizer and go crazy. Then when you get tired of the smell you'll have only spent $10 or less.

I'll add Jil Sander Man Absolute, hope you can find it.

On a budget? Look here:

Lots of vanilla in that line!

Do try Givenchy Pi too, not all-out vanilla but absolutely wonderful stuff with a hint of almond or amaretto.
