Good morning,

Its anisic sweetness and spiciness has drawn me in. Douce Amere (old bottle design). The discreet aura is absolutely sublime - this fragrance seems 'to come and go', meaning you notice it only from time to time after a few hours.

Best to all

Morning All,

Good afternoon nice people.

Was so busy during the morning I could not focus on the initial development. I recall abstract florals dangling around my sense of smell. But now, 8 hours later its the creamiest lanolin-like sandalwood enveloped in a sheath of orris root.

Last night I dreamed I was doing some early spring cleaning (LOL, that's how I knew I was dreaming) and found a brand-new, untouched bottle of "Caron Grand Marnier extrait"

SOTD is Donna Karan Cashmere Mist

Best to all!

HA HA! I hope you drank it!

Hiya Hedonist. It made me smile just to see you!

Via Camerelle EDT today. A beuatiful simple elegant accord of Bergamot and Cedar for which the light refreshing EDT seemed appropriate, but I do wish that I had bought the EDP because sqoooosh, pouf, gone, instantly.

Woah where is everyone?

Today I'm in SL Boxeuses from a decant. Opens with a bit of farmyard leatheriness with some powdery iris an odd but surprisingly satisfying combo. Then is settles into watered down Daim Blonde with some nutty iris. I do like this but have Daim Blonde so don't have the urge for a FB.

Daughter has cause to go to the mall where Sephora and Macy's live, so I'm going a-sampling after lunch. Got 15 things on the ol' to-sniff list.
Have sniffed several for the sample pass..and not sure if it was that..but having miserable allergies since. Ugh..Some of worst I've had in quite some time. Ugh. Kleenex is a good friend, lol. Miserable!

Hubs job is going well so far though..very glad about that.

I have been rocking ROMA this afternoon. The friend I was visiting
commented favourably on it and asked me what it was. Result!

Good morning, everyone!

We have good news on the weather front: there's a 70% chance of rain all day tomorrow! Woo hoo!

Kalli, I hope you get feeling better. Whether due to allergies or colds, head congestion is so rotten. And that's lovely news on Mr. Kalli's job.

Quarry, what's on your sniff list?

I'm in Slumberhouse Jeke today. It starts off with a heavy cade/birch tar blast that's pretty overwhelming, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It's now calmed down into a spicy leather with smoke around the edges. I really like this one after the first hour or so.

Yesterday's JHL thread prompted me to reach for this one...

Youth Dew Bath Oil by Estee Lauder

A Xmas gift from my good ol' buddy Joe (petruccijc). I took a bath with this stuff, at his house last month, and I just fell in love with this stuff. So he gave me the bottle. This morning, I just smeared on some of the oil (chest, arms) and whoa it's strong. I will most likely be scented all day. Good stuff. They just don't make 'em like this anymore, do they?

Funny dream, Tdem ! I don't think I'm familiar with that one hehe.

Ungaro II tonight.

Best to everyone.

Yay, my internet is back up! After panicking about it this morning, l later found out that my broadband provider had a major outage in my area today, which has now been fixed. What a relief to know it was them & not me! l missed you guys.

SOTE is Muscs Koublai Khan; l wanted something naughty to celebrate with.

I'm wearing Bvlgari Omnia today.
I found a new perfume buddy! I had a wonderful talk the other night with a friend from school about perfumes and colognes. I think he and I will be making a trip to Sephora soon!

Hope you feel better soon, kalli. Maybe I should buy you one of these - your own Basenotes tissue box. It won't help your allergies but will certainly make the art of nose-blowing seem much more luxurious .

Please report back from your sniffathon, you sultry porcelain temptress

SotE - Mark Birley.

Mike, Youth Dew Bath Oil sounds wonderful!

Ohmygosh, Jon, where do you find these things?! The tissue box is perfect!

Nice to see everyone. I'm just back from the gym and haven't picked my SotD yet.
None of my scents are meeting the major incense/woody craving I'm having, but I do have some Guerlain Bois D'Armenie that might do the trick.
Yesterday was Donna Karan Signature.
Monday was Frederic Malle Une Rose.

I'm wearing L de Lolita Lempicka today. It was another busy day at work, but I have the day off tomorrow!

hugs to all ...

Yesterday & today have been busy, busy. I'm running all over the place. I wore Annick Goutal Mandragore (I love you Q!)to the hematologist appointment. No problem, just a check up. Tomorrow is annual eye exam & back to the hospital for lab work.

I wore Narciso Rodrigues For Her edt

to work tonight and came home to a package from my sister. In it was Chanel Coco edp,

so I HAD to put some of that on too. I've noticed the edp is being packaged in the taller skinny bottles that used to be for the edt.

Long day....lots of good perfume.

I’m wearing CDG, but I can barely smell it, as I am sick *again*. Sigh. I think people who bring sick, virulent children to family gatherings over the holidays should be flogged!!! Children are probably one of the cutest and most effective of disease vectors—they always get me for sure. Hope everyone is well.
Hugs to all who are not feeling quite up to par!

kalli, glad to hear your husband's job is going okay so far.
