What are some good niche fragrances for casual wear?

When i think niche, most of the time i think sharp dressed man. Maybe a suit or button down shirt. But I'm not that type of person and im trying to find some niche scents that are well fitted for casual wear, like maybe jeans and a polo. What are some good ones that come to mind?

+1 on these. If we are staying with Creed, I would also suggest Original Vetiver and GIT. Very versatile fragrances.

Bond No. 9 Chez Bond, Eau de New York, and Bleecker Street would be good for casual wear.

Creed Silver Mountain Water. I just received mine from Creed Boutique last week. It's a casual scent for daytime wear. This can also be worn in cooler weather, it's not just a Summer Fragrance. Some say it's too feminine and I absolutely disagree. This is a man's fragrance.
My Creed lineup is as follows.

Original Santal
Royal Oud
Aventus
Silver Mountain Water
Green Irish Tweed
Erolfa

This is Winter first and then reverse in warmer months. Original Santal is the sleeper, say what you want about it. Great for cooler weather daily and evening use. Excellent for a night out in the summer chicks dig it when dancing at the club and they get up on you. Go easy on application in the summer, it's a projection beast!

Good luck choosing!

Great post. I believe there are loads of choices in this catagory.

I'd start with some of Acqua di Parma's offerrings. Any of their Blu Mediterraneo range are good for casual wear and Essenza di Colonia is equally good for formal or casual.

Creed's Tabarome, Silver Mountain Water, Himalaya and Virgin Island Water are all good casual choices too. Personally I save Aventus for more formal ocassions, but I guess it could work just as easily in a casual setting.

L'Artisan's Batucada is also a good choice for casual wear (although some may find it a tad too sweet!).

Although I don't own them, I've tested both of Serge Lutens' original Lea and Leau Froide and in my opinion they would fit the bill. The only qualm I would have about either of these is their lack of originality and affordability, compared to the similar designer 'acqua' style cheaper offerrings available.

I'd really be interested in hearing what you end up going for. Good luck

Good suggestions already. In niche, there are actually many brands that have a more casual aesthetic. For instance, CDG, with many of its scents (CDG man, eau de parfum, hinoki, vettiveru, etc). Some Diptyque as well, like Eau de diptyque, Philosykos, Vetiveryo.

No love for Le Labo Bergamote 22?

I think that is an exceptional casual fragrance, as is the much-mentioned VIW by Creed.

It depends on the weather...
Warm -- Original Vetiver
Cold -- Bergamote 22

Just about any Creed fragrance is good for casual wear. Some that immediately come to mind are:

Silver Mountain Water
Himalaya
Green Irish Tweed
Virgin Island Water
Millesime Imperial
Aventus
Spice and Wood
Erolfa

These I feel comfortable throwing on nearly any time:

Silver Mountain Water
Bleecker Street
Aventus
Chez Bond

I'll add Reflection Man as a niche that can be worn on most occasions but can be a little too sweet in warmer weather.

Himalaya...

I was going to suggest two Creeds - MI and GIT (especially the latter!). Seems I've been beaten to it!

My favourites include Serge Lutens - Un Bois Sepia, Aniick Goutal - Eau du Sud, Knize Forest, L'Artisan's Navegar and the wonderful Fragonard's Cologne Grand Luxe
