Cacao Beans / Cacao Pod?

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a scent that is reminiscent of cocoa/cacao/coco. Don't really know if there is any difference between the names/spelling, but natural cacao is what I'm looking for. Not chocolate, not sweetened, just pure natural cacao, or cocoa, whatever

Thanks in advance!

Guerlains L'Instant Extreme is a cocoa lovers dream of a frag which is in a lot of wardrobes.

Borneo 1834. Cacao not chocolate.

The other day I had finished a bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips so I placed the bag in my shirt so I could see if there would be any scent being emitted from it. Sure enough, it was quite good and I liked it better than the suggestions here. Obviously, this is not something to do in public and the sillage is low (plus you can't move around much or the bag falls though that could be fixed with a shoelace), but in this case I don't think there is a substitute for the "real thing."

I find that LIDGE, as good as it is, is fairly sweet.

Try L'Heure Defendue from Cartier.

Like Borneo there is patchouli involved but it has bitter cacao feel that is mesmerising.
