It's another is my git fake thread!

I looked on another thread and my box and bottle looked identical. It has the white ring beneath the cap too. The only thing that is weird is the creed info slip underneath the creed card with the creed founder and current house owner. The info slip is in only in one language and doesn't fold out a million times.

I thought the bottle was identical, but there is no writing on the back of the bottle. All there is on the back is a lot number on the lower rim. It says Creed

It sounds like it's authentic, but here's the million dollar question....how does it smell?

Then I think you've nothing to worry about . I've never smelled a fake Creed, but I imagine the difference in quality would be quite noticeable.

I have both the sample and bottle of creed that I sprayed on each arm. The sample is crisper for some reason and the spray form the bottle is warmer.

Which creed is it?

I'm guessing it's GIT since it's in the title

If you believe it is fake, then it might as well be. It doesn't matter if it is genuine as long as you remain unconvinced.

^ I like your way of thinking. I have a very open mind, but i'm still a bit unsure. Ill test longevity tomorrow. Has anybody ever encountered a fake fragrance that lasts 6+ hours?

The creed pamphlet under the card with the founder, and owner's face is in only one language, it's some middle eastern language, which I find odd. Most come written in many languages. I purchased from a store in the mall. It was $255 but apparently I surprised him and he sold it to me for $125.

My bad. That's what happens when you work a double.

I saw a threat about the creed lot numbers. I plugged in my lot number into the equation and it makes sense, its

A3211X01

It also matches the lot number sticker on the bottom of the box. It's just weird that it's printed on the bottom rim of the bottle.

I appreciate your concerns.
Unlike the other posters on here, I am offering some free, practical assistance to you. Send me the bottle, and I will give you my opinion of it.

Wait, so your GIT has the white ring under the atomizer head, which is pretty much THE determining factor of authenticity. AND it has a lot number on the lower rim of the bottle, yet you think it might be fake bc of the little pamphlet being only in one language??? A quick search on here would reveal that many 3rd party vendors sell Creeds in the middle east and that they sometimes come with an Arabic lettered pamphlet.

Mesa, I have searched many threads and couldn't fond anything on the pamphlet. Thank you though, now that I think about it, it makes a lot of sense. Thank you

No problem. My Royal Oud came with the Arabic pamphlet, but not the usual "Toilet Water" stamped on the back like some of my other 3rd party Creeds. If it makes you feel any better, my GIT didn't come with any lot number on the box or bottle. It was painted over on the bottle so I don't even know what batch I have.

Can u post pics Isaac?

I just got one like this with the Arab pamphlet and everything checks out as legit. Also I searched and found someone on here who lives in the Middle East who confirmed that creed and many other fragrances are sold like that in high end middle eastern stores

I would post pics, but the camera built into my laptop is garbage. Ill try my cyber shot on macro mode. Is there any way to upload the pictures directly to basenotes, or do I have to upload and link from another site?
