I posted this thread a few weeks ago: http://www.basenotes.net/threads/319...lse?highlight=
I was disappointed with the Aventus sample and awful longevity/projection. Several of the people on basenotes told me to try it again. I got some cash for x-mas and decided to purchase a full bottle. It arrived today and WHOAthis is one of the STRONGEST scents in my collection, strongest out of the CREEDs by far.
1 test spray on the wrist and I am getting strong wiffs of Aventus 4 hours in. I usually get above average projection and longevity with CREED fragrances but I have never gotten such strength off of my wrist out of any fragrance that Ive tried. I am getting the fizzy pineapple which I didnt seem to get the first time around.
I was pleasantly surprised and I am glad I gave this one a second chance. I think Ill be wearing no more than 1 spray of Aventus. Summertime I might even reduce it to a ½ spray. This is some powerful stuff and I am in awe.
I purchased it from Fragrancenet, in case any of you are wondering. But to be honest, I believe the strength of a fragrance is all about your skin chemistry and not the batch #.
A big thanks to the fragrance community here!
