Amouage Epic and Jubilation XXV could fit well.

Maybe I should explain a little. There are days when Aventus turns to rancid overripe pineapple on my skin. Not my idea of 'elegant'. I'd rather pair those sharp suits with something like MDCI Invasion Barbare, or PdN New York. Or perhaps Arquiste Boutonierre No.7.

Habit Rouge EdT anytime. I often like to wear chypres with a suit during the day - PdN New York, Derby, or Chanel PM (but carry decant to reapply). Fougeres like Gucci Nobile and Sartorial are good too. In the evenings I'll usually go for an oriental or gourmand - Egoiste, Heritage, Jubilation XXV, Dior Homme, L'Instant PH Extreme.

Tiffany for Men was made for such an occasion.

I'll also second the nominations for:

PdN New York
Egoiste
and Invasion Barbare
PASHA by Cartier
Among others:

Mouchoir de Monsieur
Rive Gauche pour Homme

Amouage Jubilation. It smells rich.
