Dear Friends,
I heard that soon, Amouage will be releasing the male equivalent of Beloved; - Beloved MAN, for those of you who are awaiting the next release like me, this is it - i do hope its more wearable than Interlude and theres little or no cloying rose as in Beloved Women, got to love AMOUAGE! - Let's see if this is true or just another rumour.
Thanks for the info and they have a lot to make up for after the awful Interlude Man. Let's hope that this is one to write home about.

tell me about it, i really wanted to like Interlude, probably they would have sold more if they had released in a concentrated extrait 30ml (ala nasomatto) rather than the standard full bottle line, Interlude while is not bad - certainly is very challenging to wear especially in hot climate, and not wearable on a daily basis.

Sounds pretty good

Hopefully no leather no oud!

Two things I am wondering, will it be priced the same as the Women's version which is $430.00 and will it be available in the US. The Women's version AFAIK is only available at Bergdorf Goodman

That's what I'm hoping for! For some companies these days it's a matter of "how much oud can we squeeze in there before people start to pass out on the street?".

I can confirm that this is true. I was tipped-off about this, last month, by a trusted source but was asked not to publicly announce it yet.

I concur. Not a fan of interlude, something missing. Hope for the best with Beloved Man.

Actually i do not mind oud at all but they need to do it differently, without rose, saffron, leather and the usual suspect, middle eastern perfumery techniques overkill, hell i think even if its an M7 first reformulation clone it will, succeed lol..

I love Interlude Man (sprayed sparingly). I have also been told about Beloved Man but that on no account disclose this.

Did the google lie to me? Beloved MAN: $425?! I realize it's Amouage, but still. Ouch.

I'm one of those who thought Interlude was stunning. Perhaps not the easiest thing to wear, but stunning nonetheless.
Damn, it sounded good until I saw the price.

^^ My thoughts exactly

Hey, they followed their norm and made it cheaper than Women, which is $430.00 a bottle.

The classic mistake that most overzealous perfumistas make time and time again. The fantasy and harsh reality are rarely ever the same...

Very True!

I can't wait, till Aedes or Gosswalds has it. My birthday is coming up I can justify the splurge.
Hrmm I get the feeling Amouage has peaked, I will wait for the user reviews to flow in but at this point I don't have as much blind faith in Amouage as I once did from the Jubilation XXV hay day.
Maybe even if it's awesome, we should all just down talk it, to try and negatively influence it's popularity, so that it hits the grey market quicker . These prices that niche designers have been pulling out are getting pretty pretentious.

If your birthday is coming up soon, you'll have to get it at Bergdorf Goodman. They have the US exclusive for the foreseeable future. They are not expecting it till next month.

I for one like Interlude Man. As some one said, sprayed sparringly.  Beloved man, I got my fist sniff and it's very good but it seems to me that it's going to be a skin scent.  It does not have the projection that I come to expect with Amouage.  I am going to see how it wears on the skin before I get my final judgement.

Haven't tried this yet but hope to soon to see what the great anticipation is about this scent.

actually, oflately i've been really "intercepted" by Interlude MAN by Amouage - really can't praise this enough - Honour MAN is also absolutely fantastic especially in cold weather - but i do not feel the same for beloved man.

I usually not a fan of Amouage's spray perfumes which I find it a little too Frenchy but this somehow intriqued me because the price is a lot higher but not quite the same as their attars. Well, I probably will wait for the reviews. :-)
