lidge or new haarlem/habit rouge

I have yet to receive my bottle of lidge from the canada boutique and am thinking about either getting new haarlem or habit rouge. Which one of these three do you think is better and what do you think of each of them? Also if you were to only have one which one would you get between new haarlem and habit rouge?

Haven't smelled Habit Rouge, but LIDGE & New Haarlem are both great. LIDGE is my preference of those two, however.

lidg, to me, is a fragrance that is good (just nothing more than good).

new haarlem on the other hand is magical juice , best gourmand of all time

Love and own LIDGE and Habit Rouge. Dislike the Bond.

Not a big fan of New Haarlem myself. I think they are much better gourmands out there if that is what you are wanting.

@hednic Which one of the two do you like more? What do both of them smell like to you?

yea I've heard it smells like really sweet sugary maple syrup with a creamy vanilla cappucino thrown in...sounds pretty damn great to me but then I haven't actually smelled the fragrance. I have Angel Men and I have to say I've really been missing out all this time not having it. The caramel/coffee/vanilla/honey/patchouli all wrapped into one is just delicious!!

If you like New Haarlem got for Michael Jordan Legend or Rochas Man.

Legend smells 95% like New Haarlem, Rochas Man about 80% like New Haarlem.

They can be had for a sixth of the cost of New Haarlem as well.

You said that you like A*Men, you should definitely try Pure Havane or Pure Malt. Also a recommendation for Dior Homme Intense.

Rochas Man smells similar to New Haarlem, but New Haarlem is far better. IMO, New Haarlem is worth 5 times the price.

That's kind of like saying that you heard that the Porsche Cayman and Range Rover are both good cars and then asking which you should buy.

They're totally different. You like AMen, so perhaps NH is a safer bet. If you just like gourmands perhaps you should just go for that.

If you want to diversify your collection, Habit Rouge is the most different of these. You may hate it though. Then again, it's about 1/5th the price of NH.

As usual, the answer is to sample before you waste a lot of money on a blind buy. It only takes one bad buy to cover the cost of a bunch of samples.
