Lalique Encre Noire Question. Pour Elle differences with Pour Homme?

I recently smelled a friend's Lalique Encre Noir Pour Elle and was very intrigued. Just something dark yet inviting about it. I was just wondering... what did they do differently for the male version? Depending on the differences, I may just blind buy this off amazon.

They are absolutely different. Pour Elle is soft creamy roses (very feminine), Pour Homme is smoky vetiver.

I own Encre Noire, and also have a sample of the Pour Elle version (was shipped to me in error by TPC a while back). They smell quite different. Encre Noire is a very strong, smoky vetiver fragrance. The Elle version, while sharing some common notes, is more rose-centric, where Encre Noire is vetiver. Much more woodsy than the Elle. Both are very nice. Pour Elle is a little feminine, but could certainly be pulled off by a man. Both last a long time and are good values for the price.

As others have already mentioned - quite different.

in simple words, if I can put it Pour Elle is Rose, and the EN is vetiver

Pour Elle IMO is not as good as Encre Noire

I think I may very well have to blind buy this then. Is there a difference between the one with the black colored top and the brown wood colored top?

Nothing alike.
