Any similarities/overlap between Floris Santal and Jaipur Homme by Boucheron?

I've been wearing a small sampal of Floris' Santal, and very pleased with it. I acquired it, based on reviews which cited it as a toned down, more wearable Gucci Envy for Men. On the hunt for a versatile do-all scent, that can be worn to work without being cloying, and it seems to fit the bill. It's also from a London niche house, so there's a decent chance that I won't smell like every other cubicle drone in NYC.

Also, on the hunt for a pleasing night time, going out and date scent, and have been looking at reviews of Jaipur Homme, and noticed all the reviews noting the creamy vanilla....which is also a note in Santal.

So, does one make the other redundant in a wardrobe, due to the vanilla? Any outright similarities?
