Should I do it?

If it is the vintage version, absolutely yes!

If you like patchouli, yes.
The current version is very nice also.

Yes, thinking about Givenchy Gentleman is fine. As long as you allow some time in your day for other matters.

Buying Givenchy Gentleman? Well, that's not a bad idea either!

Try it before you blind buy! As a 23 year old I love it and I always get compliments from older women in my work place (late 20s-early 30s) but for me, this is a scent that can be situational as its not the "cleanest" smelling scent.

One of my favourite scents. I've wore it since I was about 20 and to me, set me apart from the joop, polo wearing friends I had at the time.

It suits me personally better as a night/going out suited and booted scent rather than a day scent but if you like it, go for it.

If you're in the UK, Boots currently have the edit on offer. Iirc it was £26 for 50ml

You should definitely try Givenchy Gentlemen. It is wonderful! It is a bit heavy and great for night wear. If you wear it during the day just go lite on the trigger.

I would say to try it first. I blind bought the vintage and just received it today. Based on reviews and notes, everything about it spelled love, however, it doesn't wear well on me and turns out to be a fragrance that I have a vivid memory of. that I always disliked I. The 70s/ 80s.
It is very well done though and I can clearly see how one might enjoy this one a great deal sans pre associations or whatever...
