Any scent that maintains 1270's top notes?

So as the title says, any scent out there that has its base as a continuation of 1270's top notes?

I dislike the base of 1270 but love the opening. Tried 1670 and I find that rather heavy.

Read about Krigler - Established Cognac 66. I haven't sampled that one yet, but someone said its a cross betweeen 1270 and 1670?

Anyway, any suggestions? I love the bright cognac opening of 1270 hence the thread.

Dark Purple by Montale has a similar vibe.

Sample Established cognac. Also try Ambre Russe.
