Just a random thought....

If you own this fragrance or have a sample, try this:

After spraying L'Air du Desert Marocain for about a half hour, breathe on the application point, then smell. Awesome, right?

i love the dusty garage note in this one.

The Tauerade? dusty garage note is actually a good description. I feel this dry, dusty note in many of Tauer perfumes, even when they are in different styles, like rose chypree and orange star, where it is almost overwhelming to my nose. And you are right that if you don't smell the application point, it is less evident, though still there.

But perhaps you are not talking about this. need to try ...

Less is definitely more with this fragrance. I will be trying that tomorrow...

Another very fine fragrance IMO.

For a moment I thought this post was the result of you engaging in your display name.

I'll try it though.

I didn't think much of this scent initially, but with time I have come to more appreciate the art of LDDM. Interesting approach to smelling this after drydown. Thanks for the insight

"Tauerade" ...I like that.

How unusual! You mean to exhale on the place where you applied and then immediately smell? Maybe I'm misunderstanding. I have LdDM, so maybe I'll try that.

Yes, exhale.

Happy sniffing!

This scent is one of my favorites and love to sniff it all the day (if applied in my wrist).
