Help picking something suitable for everyday wear.

Hi everyone!

Lurked for a while, finally decided to join ehehe.

So, as i am somewhat new to this whole fragrance thing, I'm looking for something suitable for everyday wear that won't have people wrinkling their noses in disgust, and should also last a while on my skin. It should also be reasonably priced, I'm a university student and money's kinda tight.

What I have tried samples of from making multiple runs to Sephoras/Sears/The Bay:

YSL L'homme (one of my favourites)
Diesel Only the Brave (took a while to warm up to, but I do like it)
Dolce and Gabbana The one (Smells freaking amazing, but it dies so quick )
Acqua di Gio
Givenchy Play (died on my skin after 30 minutes)
JPG le male (does not mix well at ALL on my skin, smells really powdery)
1 Million (little too fruity for my tastes)
CK Euphoria (nice smell, but doesn't mix too well on my skin)

Welcome to Basenotes! From your list, I'd pick L'Homme by YSL.

Also try:

Bleu de Chanel, Allure Homme, or Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme by Chanel
Rive Gauche Pour Homme by YSL (tin can; discontinued but still available online)

It sort of depends on where you are as a college student and what you like to wear. Fragrance is a very personal thing, and I personally like to wear Aventus and GIT a lot when I am at school, since I don't want to offend anyone. You can find GIT or even Himalaya testers for $70 or so on fragnet, and full 4 oz bottles for $125.

Gucci Pour Homme II for everyday. L'homme is another great everyday scent, but it doesnt last all that long. I think I actually like it in the summer better.
