I like championing store fragrances if I think they're any good (Marks & Sparks Autograph Intense was one of them) and I've just got a hold of a bottle of this - sweet, honeyed citrus and amber - difficult to describe, but very attractive.

It might appeal to Dior homme Intense fans and others who like sweet perfumes that aren't too cloying. I'm quite surprised I haven't seen anything about it here yet because it's quite striking.

Any fans?

By the way - it's only £9 for the bottle. Absolute bargain for a quality fragrance. It's also worth noting that Next now have a very good range of EDP's all for comparatively cheap prices - Sig Gold (EDT) is my favourite.

Yes, it's not bad, although it's just a sticky label for the lettering.

Not much info on their perfume range online, curiously. They're a bit like Marks and Spencer in that respect - they don't go out their way to promote them.

I do like the fact that some of the big stores are starting to commission their own inexpensive but good quality fragrances. Marks, Next and Zara all have some good ones, to name but a few.

M & S frags are very good, but then again so is everything in M & S

A co-worker of mine keeps a small bottle of a Next fragrance in his desk but I don't think it's that one. I was actually surprised at how good it smells.

Its pretty much a clone of Black XS minus some of the woodyness. There are some great alternatives in stores, i like Definition by Next which is really similar to La nuit de l'homme.
If you can get your butt to a big M&S and check out their niche lines theyre getting in, theyre amazing value for money.
Mostly french gourmand EDP's.

Well I smelled it on someone else today and didn't like the wafts I got of it. How strange.
