He Wood Rocky Mountain worth a blind buy?

I was looking for a refreshing scent that reminds me of nature the way Green Irish Tweed does, and I stumbled across this. I can't seem to find any samples being offered anywhere... but I was wondering if it's worth a blind buy.

IMO No. See what others think though.

If you like woody scents then I would say "yes".

Hello.

I purchased this fragrance 2 years ago as a blind buy because i enjoyed the original He Wood.

IMO it is far to heavy, but that is just my opinion.

I personally regret the purchase. It smells of very strong violets but peppery, it is hard to explain; there is nothing refreshing or pleasent about the scent whatsoever, it is very synthetic, sickly sweet and heavy.

IMO it is far to heavy for a summer scent, but that is just my opinion.

It will not hurt at all to buy a $2.00 sample first

IMO, nothing is worth a blind buy because different people have different tastes (or smells..) unless of course, you're that type of person that just loves blind buying.

I don't think so.

But I disagree with the guy saying that it's a heavy scent--I think it's pretty light.

It definitely smells 'of nature.' But so do many.

If you're looking for earthy mineralic rocks and some light florals then you should definitely sample Rocky Mountain Wood. But it's not remotely similar to GIT.

What are you looking for specifically?

No. Try before you buy.

IMO no, it smelled a bit like glue with some other notes in there. It wasn't horrible, but there are a lot of better fragrances out there.

Agree with most others here..........no. I own it and never wear it. OK but nothing special. Plenty better at the price.

I agree 100%. In fact, that's exactly what I did. I bought a sample of Rocky Mountain Wood because I enjoy woods and I enjoy violet. I was surprised by how much I didn't end up loving this one at all. I'll have to revisit my sample, but my initial opinion was that I was glad I didn't buy a bottle.

I'm going to have to agree with the majority here and say this is not worth a blind buy. I did, and even though it isn't a bad scent I do wish I had sampled it first.

It has a really good wood note, but the pepper and incense make this a rather dry scent, and definitely not refreshing.

If you like woody scents and can find if for a good price. It's basically smelling of wood, perhaps unsurprisingly so considering the name.

Thanks guys. I'll try to find a sample somewhere!

I think you would like it because it has violet leaf. It's also very woody which is what I like about it. Narciso Rodriguez for men is another one with a lot of violet leaf, but it's pretty unique.

IMO, no. Do get a sample

Not a safe blind buy. I kinda like it and was thinking about buying full bottle but yesterday I tried to wear it and had to wash it away after 10 minutes. There are few notes here that almost made me vommit...

YES!!!! I love this stuff. Very natural smelling, mineral earth, and light florals. Very well done fragrance.

I dont no how people can say natural smelling? All I can smell is furniture polish, very strong violets and pepper. It makes me choke!
