Other luxury colognes besides Creed

HI,

I've been a completely satisfied Creed wearer for years. Just curious what other high-end cologne lines/manufacturers there are which I might want to try?

Bond no. 9, Tom Ford Private Blend, Frédéric Malle...

Amouage have a good range of luxury fragrances you may want to explore.

There are many. First one that comes to mind as obviously recommendable is Amouage.

Since this is almost the exact same question you asked in another thread, I'm going to post the exact same answer:

Try something from Guerlain - L'Instant de Guerlain Extreme, Heritage, Cologne du 68 (if you can find it) are all great scents, as are many of their others.

If you want to spend a bit more, sample some of the Tom Ford private blends. Noir de Noir, Tobacco Vanille and Tuscan Leather are favourites.

If you can pull off more unisex fragrances and like warm orientals, you really can't beat Serge Lutens. My favourites are Santal Majuscule, Chergui and Feminite do Bois.

There are no other luxury houses. Creed is the only one.

But I would still recommend:

Maitre Parfumer Et Gantier
Parfums De Nicolai
Pengaligons
Czech & Speake
Amouage
Serge Lutens
Frederic Malle
By Kilian
Tom Ford
Atelier
Acqua Di Parma
Hermes

I don't even know where to begin...? The options are in the hundreds. EdP Frédéric Malle has a lot of great options and is as good a starting place as any other...

Mona Di Orio Oud . Thanks to a fellow Basenotes member generous trade, I am now a big fan of this. Such a strange opening though. But beautiful drydown.

I would stick with Creed, especially now that you have the added convenience of finding it at high-volume discounters such as kmart and Winners, the TJMaxx of Canada.

Guerlain is a good one.

i don't find the Creed house as luxury at all, i categories Creed as a casual summer wear, nothing special. Just an OK juices with a hefty price tag.

Other high end are and worth the price

Puredistance
MDCI
Amouage
Guerlain exclusives
Serge Lutens
F.Malle

Guerlain, Tom Ford and Frederic Malle are all amazing fragrance houses. I would also give the Frapin house a shot. I absolutely am loving 1270 this time of year and I use L'Humaniste as my scent that I wear when I don't know what to wear on those hot summer days.

Other than the excellent ones listed above, I would add:

Profumum Roma
Lubin
Armani Prive

Try the dark enigmatic Judeo-Franco vibe of of JAR...I hear it's quite an experience.

Lorenzo Villoresi also.
