Morning Everyone,

Hope the day finds you all well.
I'm lounging around watching the tennis in some No.5 '50s extrait, courtesy of a very dear BNer.

Good morning! I'm in Carnal Flower today.

Good morning!

The temperature here has risen a few degrees, we've had heavy rain overnight but now the sun is shining brightly. For the first time this year l feel the need for a spring floral, & so l reached for my vintage Narcisse Noir EDT. Perfect!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Saturday in Terre d'Iris by Miller Harris

Ormonde Jayne Sampaquita. Some call it boring, I perceive it as a scent with royal calmness, almost like old-school Houbigant, with nothing out of place and everything pitching in towards the excellent whole.

Have a nice weekend.

Hello everyone, Shalimar Parfum Initial for me today.

Best to all.

Twolf, I like Sampaquita too. House twins with Twolf with Ormonde Woman earlier in the day, and now in FM Une Rose!

gandhajala, so cool you met with Josh the other day, hope he said nice things about me! He is fun to tear up the streets of London with.

I tried to post yesters, but BN kept stalling out. Sigh.

FLATHORN, you perfectly expressed the wonder I feel about the new perspectives BN gives us (when it's working).

I haven't applied a scent yet, but I don't know if I'll be able to even say hi later, what with BN's server issues. So, "Hi!"
Afternoon everybody! BN server acting up again I see.

Creed Jardin d'Amalfi today. Im in love. Swoon.

Not a whole lot better today for me Quarry: intermittent periods of stalling, ie this post is taking many minutes to post and giving me opportunity to add this additional section telling about that stalling.

Gendarme this cool morning

Yay for the bright sun! And the Narcisse Noir! I am having my hopes high for acquiring one sometimes next week.

Scent twins with gandhajala in Chanel N 5 modern EdT from one very dear lady! I must have just came out from under the rock for trying it today for the first time in my life and really loving it.

Gotta give BN credit for being unique.
It has things go wonky like no other site.

Wearing Bond No. 9 Mothers.

Good Evening,

Well, after trying vintage Eau Sauvage for the first time the other night and saying how much I wanted a bottle, one (80 % full ) miraculously appeared in my life today. It belonged to my grandfather who passed away this October. Hope you don't mind me finishing the rest, Gramps ! So that's my SotE.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
Looking forward to the men's Aussie Open finals tomorrow.
Best to all.

Hello everyone!

It's a nice and sunny, almost spring-like day, I'm getting ready to play golf with my dad, and I'm in vintage Givenchy III. Y'all have a fantastic day, too!

Yeah, me too ...I suppose. I really like both Murray and Djokovic, but I can't ever get too excited about a non-Fed final ...sigh. Enjoy, and best of luck to your man!

Nice spin.

Mornin', Y'all!
I'm wearing 100% Love, and feeling glad that we do not have all that snow they're showing on tv.
As Quarry said - just using my lucky chance at getting on BN to say "hi!" No SotD for me yet, but I'm in the mood for musk. Eventually. I think.

Lucasai, I like your sotd. You smell so nice! I finished an old decant of Terre d'Iris yesterday and I enjoyed it so much. I like those Miller Harris "terre" fragrances.

Speaking of old decants, I want to start using those up, especially the old vintage ones. Waste not want not.

Coeur de Vetiver Sacre for me today.

What a nice turn of things, G.!
This site's performance is utter crap. I just don't understand why the German parfumo (also growing hugely) manages to run a site without any problems (that I notice)...
Gothic again... Messe de Minuit, original EdC.

Cool and raining here today, tomorrow, and probably into st of the week, need something warm and fuzzy: Mauboussin.
Just spritzed on some Cinema for going out tonight.

Thanks Whitefluffy, enjoy your Narcisse Noir!

And G, how wonderful, l'm sure your gramps would be pleased for you to use & enjoy his Eau Sauvage.

LOL at Q, there's none wonkier than basenotes, that's for sure!
Agree, it has been wonky and stalling out for the whole 6 days in a row. I know, the records has been longer, oh well.....

Changed into Guerlain Mahora for the evening.

I'm in a scent mix of Moroccan Oil curl cream and vintage Chantilly. I smell so amazing I really don't want to cook anything tonight - it will make my hair smell like dinner. I don't care if we all starve, I need to smell good to myself.

That made me giggle.

It's been a lazy day for me. Haircut, late breakfast, groceries and then some serious sun bathing in my backyard (not a cloud in the sky!). I felt like sandalwood all day today, so it's been a mish-mash of:

Santal Majuscule by Serge Lutens (the very last drops from my sample)

Santal 33 by Le Labo

and Hermessence Santal Massoia by Hermes

Later on tonight I'm going to dinner with a whole bunch of guys that I know, I'll probably wear:

Santal Blush by Tom Ford

((Bear hugs)) to all that need them.
Haven't been on much-- it takes too long for pages to load. I hope they can get the site to work better soon.

I'm wearing Un Bois Vanille from my brand new bottle that arrived yesterday!
