New Paco Rabanne 1 Million Intense

Don't know if we will see this in the USA

Masculine fragrance 1 Million from the designer house Paco Rabanne has experienced tremendous popularity since it was launched in 2008. The only previous reissue of this perfume is 1 Million Gold Absolutely, a pure perfume version presented in 2012. In 2013, there is also a new version launched 1 Million Intense. The new perfume is announced as the embodiment of extravagance.

The spicy-woody-oriental compositions of this intensified and deeper version begins with fresh and spicy notes of blood mandarin, cardamom, black pepper and saffron. Rose absolute, neroli and cinnamon form the perfumes heart, situated at the base of white leather, orris root, patchouli and sandalwood.

Familiar faces have been chosen to star in the new commercialmodels Matt Gordon and Dree Hemingway. The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette Intense.

Will definitely check out the intense version.

Good grief!

Is the original not intense enough for some? lol

I don't care what anyone says... I like 1 Million. My SOTD today, which quite pleased my wife and daughters.

Honestly, despite its reputation, 1 Million is shy on my skin. I would check out the extreme version once it hits the US Market.

I saw this earlier today. I couldn't believe I read that correctly: "1 Million Extreme". Extreme?

Wow. I will need to try this - I am very curious to see what a weapons-grade 1 Million will smell like.

Worth trying a sample first.

Will also be on the lookout for this.

1 million is one of my favorite designers.

and it was only a matter of time till paco milked this cow

but the original is already potent. how could you get more extreme than that ? haha

Hm.. I got the Absolutely Gold version in recently; if any Basenotes get/have it and get/have the AG version.. care to compare the two?

release date anyone?

They were marketing it at the mall yesterday.
They set up a huge display area and had banshees spray shoppers and the air and the air vents.

I think I have asthma now.

Is there room for 3 x concentrations of this? We already have a mega strong EDT and a Pure Perfume lol

It is named 1 Million Intense. Please rename topic for the easier search.

1 Million ...Extinct. Another WMD?
Good, we need this. The original is not loud at all on my skin, despite what many say on these forums

Original and Absolutely Gold are superb fragrances, looking forward to seeing this.

I will have to try this asap, already like One Million.

God help us indeed, exactly what I thought when I read this on Fragrantica yesterday. Tried to start a thread about it here but at that exact moment BN was having even more issues than it has for the last week.

The original 1 Million, when applied in the amounts a 20-something goes for, sticking to the principle of more is more, was enough to make me want to pull the emergency cord during a 5 minute trip on the London Underground a couple of summers back.

Surely there are United Nations Security Council Resolutions that ban the creation of an Intense version of this stuff?

I never thought I'd see the day Spanish launched Nukes.

I may pick this up for my garden as I have ran out of weed killer.lol

It is like they are making this the Giorgio of the new century except for women this time it's men. Who needs this more intense?

When you have dry skin, as I do, you will welcome an intense version.

+1. Some people don't understand that for some of us, the original is not potent enough,

As far as the fragrance goes, by now most seasoned Basenoters should know that the term "Intense" does not mean stronger. Rather, just a change of notes and feel to the fragrance.

It may actually project less, in fact, that's my bet. Will it be rounder/smoother? Also my bet.

pyramid looks more interesting than the original . . . which I think is very crude but you never know with flankers.
