I love stanky fragrance, can you help sugest a few for me to sample

I love stanky fragrance, can you help sugest a few for me to sample... I enjoy mkk, kouros, and ambre sultan... I love fragrance that are spicy, different, and just straight out skanky like mkk... any suggestions would be much appreciated....

Narcisco Rodriguez Musc. That should be stanky enough.
I never had any "stink" from Ambre Sultan. I always think of AS as a beautiful smell rather than a stinker!

Absolue pour le Soir
Musc Tonkin
Leather Oud

Eau d'Hermes is the benchmark here in my view. In my perennial top 5. Declaration might also be worth a shot.

Bond Harrods Oud
HdP Petroleum

Xerjoff Zafar - The smell of cheese in a barnyard, real Oud in all its skanky glory.lol

I second Kurkdjian APLS, warm spicy musky, animalic, yet more wearable than MKK. Rien and Dzing! are animalic in the sense of leather; Rien can be truly dangerous in large doses. For spicy dirtyness, I also second Eau d'hermes, a cumin bomb, so if cumin smells sweaty to you, that's it.

The dirtiest I can think of however is the opening of Oud 27, a powerful dirty musk (later, oud 27 becomes more woody).

If you like spices and skank you MUST try Serge Noire. You'll be in skanky burnt spice heaven! (Well, that may be an odd use of "heaven" but there you have it!
Moderately stanky, but still worth a try: Mouchoir de Monsieur, Marbert Homme, even Givenchy Gentleman, all three being "reasonably dirty" to qualify.

Agreed.
Might as well throw in Jicky with that bunch too

Another vote for Musc Tonkin

Dirty old wet flannel...

And if you meant a fragrance that one purchases, Grey Flannel.

I'd PAY to see you trying to walk around after 2 or 3 sprays of LAPIDUS! ROTFLMAO
post #16 of 80
Etat Libre d'Orange's Rien and Montale's Oud Cuir d'Arabie.
+1 Absolue Pour Le Soir

I also recommend Ambre Russe by Parfum D'Empire
post #18 of 80
Kouros is the worst stinking scent I've smelled.
Byredo M/mink, very dirty but completely unwearable for me. Perhaps Jicky?

I've worn M/Mink to work, no problems.

Ok...We're you expecting to be sent home, or fired?
I'd also disagree about Black Afgano being a skanky scent, the best way to describe it is as a smoky "green" scent.

1. Smell Bent Commando EDT
2. Byredo M/Mink
3. Bal de Versailles EDC

I may be alone, but I find that Parfums de Nicolai's New York has a certain dirtiness to it. The kind that keeps drawing you back. I think the French call it "beautiful dirt."

Rochas Moustache

Absolue pour le Soir, Jicky and Cuir d' Arabie

Jicky Parfum, Al Ouhd, Absolu Pour le Soir, Leather Oud .. all worth checking out.

Must be its powdery (just a little bit) vibe and cloves note.

Musc Ravageur
Dior Leather Oud
l'Artisan Dzing!
l'Artisan Al Oudh
If you are a fan of Kouros, then I highly recommend Derrick by Orlane. It has a similar sort of "locker room" vibe as Kouros. And it is very inexpensive, to boot.

On the niche end, M/Mink by Byredo, Al Oudh by L'Artisan, Dzing! by L'Artisan, Harrods Oud by Bond No. 9, Oud Cuir d'Arabie by Montale, and Oud 27 by Le Labo are all great choices.

No stank to this whatsoever.

I'll add another vote for Leather Oud for some modern stank.

wow....in no way, to my nose is BA.....green. Skank, bong water skank & swamp....but in a good way, to each their own nose taketh.

So much of it's drydown actually has an uncanny resemblance to various deer scent, from 'deer gland secreations' used by hunters. So if you want to go OG skank, buy that...lol.

+1 Ungaro II

I think it's a bit of a herbal stinker myself.
And another vote for Musc Tonkin as a very wearable skank. Serge Noir yeah Skanky - but as much as I love SL frags - that one's just nasty!
I've never tried it, but most reviews say Secretions Magnifique is nasty.

Liquid Ass
I was going to suggest Kouros, but it looks like you already enjoy smelling like urinals - LOL. Jicky has a very fecal-smelling civet note that should be skanky enough and our friend Michael Storer has one call Winter Star that has what many wearers describe as a skanky, I'm-feelin'-a-bit-nasty musky not to it. Winter Star is one of my favorite fragrances that I've owned and/sampled because it lasts forever, is very unique, and is priced well for a niche EDP that you have to barely "spittle" onto your skin. Seriously, I avoid even putting one full spray on or it is too strong - I spittle a little here a little there and I'm good for the day. Good stuff indeed.
My favorites are

MFK Absolue pour le Soir
PdE Musc Tonkin

These are both worth trying for sure.

Miller Harris L'air de rien
Cuir de Lancome
APLS
MKK
Eau d'Hermes
Declaration
Bel Ami
Invasion Barbare
MdM
Jicky
Roshad Maccasar
Bal a Versailles
Secretions Magnifique
Surely Miller Harris L'air de rien and Dzing aren't stanky. Both are very mild.. but have character.
I'll add...
Jean Pascal
Imaginary Authors - Bull's Blood
Untitled #8

Try Knize Ten Knize
If you can't get your stank on with half a dozen squirts of Xeryus Rouge, something is wrong.
+1 for Bal A Versailles, Rochas Moustache, Salvador Dali Pour Homme, Dzing!, and I'll add L'Anarchiste which I didn't see listed yet. Good luck, let us know what you decide to try and what you like.

It really isn't as bad as some say. It gets a lot of "hype" I suppose as the alleged "most offensive smell ever", but it's hardly that.

Obviously not the most offensive smell ever, but surely the most offensive smelling perfume. I'm curious what perfume you feel smells worse than SM?

Breath of God, Reflection Man, Le Male, etc.

But I would say stuff like the opening of Xerjoff's Zafar would be much more off putting than SM (not that Zafar is bad, but I would say is much more rough and would probably revolt more people).

Hmm interesting. I'm not a fan of those 3 fragrances, but IMO they pale in comparison to the stink of SM. Le Male is after all one of the top selling men's colognes of all time.

I had a sample vial of SM in a Tupperware container with a bunch of other samples, somehow it shattered (I think due in large part to its own putrid stench lol), I ended up having to throw everything out, that metallic stink just wouldn't go away.

Yes!
Dior's leather Oud and Absoulte pour le soir. And I love them both!
Take your skanky ass to Luckyscent and get Mazzolari Lui.
