Canada Customs duties - MinneNY.com

Thread Starter
Anyone get ripped by Customs Cda for any orders placed online from MinneNY.com in particular? I am looking at a big fragrance order for gifts for a wedding. MinneNY.com sales rep told me that they will enter the actual value of the perfume when they ship, they will not enter less values, also adding that they have a lot of returning cutr's from Cda.
Any feedback is much appreciated...

If they enter the actual cost then you will probably be charged customs fees. What does "cutr" mean?

If they are not willing to do that, do not bother doing business with them, In my personal opinion, The Perfume Shoppe in Vancouver is far better.

You cant expect a company to lie to customs just to make one sale to a Canadian customer. Im sure they are insuring the package with UPS so they have to list the real amount in case anything happens.

I'm pretty sure you have a choice to use either UPS or USPS for shipping options!

I have international people all the time ask me to lie on Customs forms about value/gift...I refuse to do it, there is a fine/imprisonment for defrauding customs...I just quit selling overseas.

Order From FragrenceX, no custom fees when I bought from them, I think up to 150 before you get charged customs fees (though could be hire so check), they say to split your order into parts if it goes over. This shouldn't hit your wallet either cause shipping to Canada is free!
