Guerlain Heritage EDT worth buying?

I have smelled Heritage once on paper and a few weeks ago I tried some on my arm. I remember liking it a lot and it did remind me of Creed BDP but maybe a little sweeter with some cream. Both of these fragrances are really classes and remind me of something a wealthy person would use especially when dressed in a suit. I don't own any Guerlains besides LIDGE and I always wanted to add some Guerlains to my collection. I am just afraid that since I haven't really sampled it much, I may wear it a few times and then decide I don't like it.

Anyone have any experience with Guerlain Heritage EDT?

Is it something that I could add to my rotation year round?

Does it come in a 50ml or similar size bottle (I can get the 100ml but I will never use it all so I was hoping for a discount on a smaller bottle)?

I really like Heritage and have gotten compliments on it. In fact one woman said it was her favorite of what I've worn, and that has included Creeds and some other high-quality frags.

Nice frag, but reminds me more of Zino than BdP. It can be found in 50ml size. I probably wouldn't reach for it much in the hot weather.

I think yes, rather like Bois Du Portugal but cheaper, yes worth buying and yes to be worn all year round. (Though maybe easy on the trigger when it's warm. I also found it had excellent longevity and the drydown just gets better and better.
75ml is the size I have come across.

Yes . . . this is one of my favorites from Guerlain . . . really nice and simply "smells good". I tend to wear it more in the colder months, but don't hesitate to wear it on occasion throughout the year.

In my opinion, yes. Good longevity and great value for the money, plus also quite versatile during the year, especially for evening/more formal wear.

It's lovely, very classy and mature smelling. I'm not sure how it would do in the heat but I wore it last night and two sprays lasted a long time. If you like patchouli you will like this as I find it very patchouli heavy. It's great and worth owning if you don't have something in that vein.

I actually don't like Zino at all. I had a sample of it and I had to was it off. I could see the similarities though.

Sounds like you should sample some more before buying a fb. The current formulation is great but its very easy to find "vintage" bottles on ebay. Just look for a 75ml splash edt in the short fat bottle.

It's the only Guerlain i like. Recommend it, a great fragrance. IMO a same kind of vibe as BDP and Patou Pour Homme.

Vintage of anything is usually preferred. Obviously it will be hard for me to sample vintage. Do you think it would be better to buy that if I like the new heritage?

If you figure out that you like the new one enough to buy then you can easily get a vintage if you stalk ebay for a while. If youre in a hurry then the current is still great.

Heritage is my favorite of the Guerlain's I've owned/sampled so far.

I've used about 30% of the 100ml bottle I have, so it's probably my most
worn fragrance, along with the likes of Rive Gauche and Tiffany for Men.

I have to respectfully disagree with the comparisons to Zino.
I can't stand Zino, but I love Heritage. The comparisons to Patou Pour Homme
are well deserved though IMO. It comes very close to the richness and complexity
of that legendary fragrance at a fraction of the price.

For what it's worth, I've also owned the modern EDP version of Heritage and didn't
care too much for it. It's a completely different fragrance to the EDT in my opinion.

And the projection and longevity on Heritage are immense.
It lasts about 10 hours for me, before becoming a skin scent.
You will be noticed when you wear it.

It's absolutely worth buying.

I just tried my Zino sample on again to make sure. It still doesn't smell like Zino to my nose and I had to wash it off.

I would say it is well worth it. I don't seen anything in your collection that is very similar to it.
More than BDP, I see Heritage as a creamier Ungaro I and as a more accessible Basala - something between a fougere and an oriental. Quite nice and quite wearable, especially in the colder months. The opening can be strong and slightly dated but it subsides.
