Applying fragrance to dry skin

Hello, i have a problem with fragrance longeivity and projection regarding my dry skin...so would it be to much to apply fragrance for example 2x on each side of the neck (4 total) or? i'm curios would the application of two sprays on each other ruin the fragrance smell or is it ok?
i think when i apply 1x on each side of the neck the fragrance is to weak and not projecting well

Have you tried using lotion ?

Incognito is on the right track, You should find a fragrance free lotion to apply to your body after a shower. Then the fragrance has something to cling to and will increase it's longevity. I know first hand because I have dry skin as well and the lotion trick works very well. Good Luck!

Unscented lotion prior to applying the fragrance - give it a try.

You could get a tub of unscented lotion for $8. So, it's worth a shot.

I have very dry skin and I use unscented lotion and it works great.

I have very dry skin also and it suuuucks. hearing people talk about all these frags with "monster" sillage and 12+ hours longevity can get very depressing since I experience nothing similar. When I first started buying cologne I even got a little paranoid and thought I had bought some fakes because I was only getting 3 or 4 hours out of them. I have just recently started using lotion, and it does help. A couple sprays on your shirt won't hurt either as NOirdrakkar stated.
