What caron's do you think work for a man?

Hello Ladies!

I love Caron Parfumery and especially Nuit de Noel and Parfum Sacre. Am I on the right track and what others should I sample?

Thank You!

I was going to say these two.

Une Pour Femme, is warm and spicy.
Tabac Blond(but this is usually considered unisex anyway)
En Avion, wonderful
Narcisse Noir, actually worn by many men over the years.

n'Aimez Que Moi - rose - sandalwood - oak moss - divine

Agree with Donna. Tabac Blond and En Avion are my faves (in extrait, naturally).

Narcisse Noir is gorgeous. I think the more concentrated and the older (vintage) it is, the better it will fit men.

Where can I find Caron being sold at the best price online?

Imho, these...

Tabac Blond
En Avion
Coup de Fouet

Our Caronianus Larimar should chime in.

I agree with you that NdN and Parfum Sacre have survived, in part, the iconoclastic fury of the current perfumer and the blows of IFRA restrictions. Hard to suggest any other feminine edt. Parfum is better, but only up to a point; in any case, I don't think you can find parfum online. The opening of Tabac Blond parfum is great, as is that of Acaciosa. I need to reexamine En Avion parfum.

You MUST try Tabac Blond. You might also want to give Les Plus Belles Lavandes de Caron a sniff (I think it's extremely unisex).

As far as I know, the sources for Caron online are limited. Luckyscent has some. So does MiN (they sell more inventory in store, from Caron urns). eBay also, of course.

In addition to several already named, I would add Royal Bain de Caron, which I thought Caron used to list as shared but now is listed in the feminine market, and Eau de Reglisse. From the Fountains, Poivre is excellent. Curiously, Coup de Fouet, which is closely based on Poivre, is clearly identified on the Caron website as being equally suited to men and women alike.

I totally agree, forgot about those.

I've purchased both of my Carons from Amazon for good prices. I just checked again, and they have the 100 ml bottle of Parfum Sacré for less than US $50. However, the two I purchased (Parfum Sacré and Nocturnes) are in a bit wider of distribution, so you might not have the same luck with all the fragrances mentioned here, but I'd definitely check there.
