No wonder my Gucci Envy for Men doesn't last... (FAKE)

It is definitely fake. My first sign was that the letters on the bottle are scraping off rather easily. Secondly, the top is coming apart. Then when I looked on the bottom of the bottle, there is a sticker saying "Eau de Parfum" while the box says it's an EDT. The batch code is "8136" which checkcosmetics says is from May 2008, but I already know it's a fake. Here are some pictures of this travesty:














I know it's hard to read the sticker in the 5th picture, but it says Eau De Parfum. In addtion to that, it says Yves Saint Laurent on it. How lovely. To make matters worse, it says "7FL OZ". Worst fake I have ever seen.

I purchased it on eBay. I know the risks, but eBay also offers good buyers protection. The seller offers 14 day money back, but its been about 3 weeks. I contacted the seller asking for my money back and if he doesn't budge then I will open a case on eBay. Can I still win the case even if its been more than 2 weeks? I believe I can since its a fraudulent item. Anyone know?

Factories make mistakes with labelling. However, I can't help but notice that you have said nothing of how it smells.

Yes after seeing the pictures, it's definetely a fake. The looks of the black box, the twisted atomizer hose, the letters in the bottle etc.... Hope you'll get your money back.

I got jipped on ebay with this b**ch selling a fake TDH, I don't bother as much with it now , always buy testers on ebay instead , full bottles most likely to be faked. All the testers i got from ebay were legit, where as the full bottles, half of them were fakes.

Alas this is why id never purchase anything from those sites.

I dont doubt for a moment that there are many genuine specialists into there scents on there, but unfortunatley theres going to be many sharks that swim the seas.

i guess thats the risk people are willing to take when looking for a bargain or something that may be hard to find.

I am sorry to hear of your fake purchase.
