Joop Homme Very Sexy In Pink

Joop Homme Very Sexy In Pink (VSIP) smells like a more toned down, warmer version of Joop Homme, and it isn't the sillage/projection monster that Joop homme is. It is supposed to have saffron and leather in it, but at first sniff one would automatically think of Joop Homme. That said, it has me puzzled. In a side by side comparison with Joop Homme the basenotes are obviously different, so why do I automatically think of Joop Homme?


I don't think it's fresh enough to be a hot weather scent, even Original Santal is fresher than VSIP . My wife greatly dislikes Joop Homme, but thought this version was okay.

Has anybody else tried it?

While I'm a fan of both Joop Homme and Original Santal, my wife has now gone very anti Joop Homme but likes Original Santal.

Very Sexy In Pink has about the same clout as Original Santal, but definitely lasts longer with strength.

Update - Joop Very In Pink lasted for about two days on my arm. Not as strong as the original Joop PH, but longer than a lot of the recent flankers.
