Wait, what? Does Fragrancenet have any b&m stores? How could you buy it today and know it's a 2011 batch?

Or ordered and assuming it's 2011 batch and haven't received yet? or?

Got the same two days back. The 2011 batches are good, balanced, and strong. I wore two sprays on Monday night, and could still smell it on my pillow this morning (Wednesday).

A wee little bottle of Eau de Cologne du Caporal by Jean LaPorte, Parfumeur.

I believe this is from before he was calling his company L'Artisan Parfumeur, and well before founding Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier.

And yes, it smells good.

Anyone have a bottle about they no longer need?

Lucked out and was able to get a 50ml of this for $60 (reputable wholesaler too, fully legit). Snapped it up, naturally. Good day today!

Having recently sampled Chypre Palatin, congrats on your choice. It's genius, it's gorgeous, it was love at first sight. I've also been smitten with my carded sample of D600; seeing it pop up in this thread is encouraging. Both are on my short list, but my short list is so long!

My own purchases for February: HdP Petroleum and Theo Fennell Scent, thanks to Shiny-Beast and ebay, respectively.

I just got home and look what was waiting for me.

Tom Ford For Men.

Aqua Fahrenheit. I'm looking forward to this one for spring and summer. God, I can't wait till warm weather finally gets here!

FYI: I just checked, and the Fragrancenet 21% off code still works. It's VJNY2. Make sure you set up an account at ebates first and then use the ebates link to reach fragrancenet for an additional 6% cash back on your total order. It was as much as 12% when I placed my order, but even at 6%, it's still cash back that adds up.

P.S. I'm not affiliated with fragrancenet or ebates in any way. I'm just doing my part to pass along a tip that might help some folks here to save a bit. I'm sure I'm not the only one who holds off on purchases until there's a sale.
