Your Summer Rotation

post #1 of 43
Thread Starter
I'm getting anxious for warm weather, but it won't come for quite a while (I'm in Michigan). Post your summer rotations.

Creed Silver Mountain Water- currently have 5ml sample, plan to buy 30ml decant
Creed Millesime Imperial- currently have 10 ml sample
Creed Virgin Island Water- 5ml sample
GPH II- sample is gone, plan to buy a bottle
YSL L'homme- bottle
YSl La Nuit- bottle (will wear lightly)
Nautica Voyage- bottle
Versace Pour Homme- mini
Versace Man Eau Fraiche- mini
KC Reaction Connected- bottle (disappointing purchase, but it is a decent scent)
KC Black- bottle (another disappointment, but it is decent)
Acqua Di Gio- bottle
Acqua Di Parma Colonia- vial
Rochas Man- bottle (can this be worn safely in the heat?)
CK One Shock
Kiton Men- multiple vials
Mugler Cologne- thinking of buying 10ml sample
Creed Aventus- 5 and 10ml decants
Ilum Dean Fresco- whole damn bottle (dont really need this since I have Aventus, but thought I would try it)

added late (forgot)
Guerlain LIdG and LIDGE- 10ml and 5ml (not sure how these fair in the heat)
Midnight in Paris- 5ml
Dolce and Gabbana Pour Homme- sephora sample
Unforgivable- bottle

I'm probably missing a few things. But this is what I can think of off the top of my head.

Menthe Fraiche
Beyond Paradise Men
Millesime Imperial
L'Eau Froide
Issey Miyake Summer 2009
Pi Neo Tropical Paradise
Lorenzo Villoresi Uomo
Dior Homme Sport

And I'll probably also wear Adventure Quasar this summer as I'm finding its a nice, fresh fruity aquatic that's different from the rest.
post #8 of 43
Since I work in air-conditioned spaces and it almost never gets too hot in my corner of the universe, if it's in my wardrobe, it may be worn in summer.
post #9 of 43
I might wear just about anything from my collection this summer, but these are the ones that will be getting a bit more usage than the others:

Creed - Jardin d'Amalfi
Creed - Virgin Island Water
Kenneth Cole - Black
Kenneth Cole - Reaction
Bond No. 9 - Chez Bond
Bond No. 9 -Eau de New York
Bond No. 9 - Bleecker Street
Tom Ford Neroli Portofino
Chanel - Allure Homme Sport
Chanel - Allure Homme Edition Blanche
Versace Man - Eau Fraiche
Dior Homme Sport 2008
Dior Homme Sport 2012
Nautica Voyage
Mugler Cologne
Heeley - Agarwood
Heeley - Sel Marin
Monsieur Balmain
Armani - Acqua di Gio
by Kilian - Straight to Heaven

But, pretty much anything in my collection is fair game.
post #10 of 43
Definitely Dior Homme Sport, Acqua Di Gio Essenza, Creed Aventus, Chanel's Edition Blanche, and any of my other fragrances with few applications of spray.
post #11 of 43

Lyric Man
Delicious Night
Midnight in Paris EdP

I'm contemplating the possibility of picking up Millesime Imperial or Rose 31 while I'm here in the States as well for the warmer weather.

For the moment (GPH 2 is in my spring rotation)
Regular work use: Hermes Eau d'Orange Verte, Creed Selection Verte & MI, Chanel AH Edition Blanche;
Very hot days so Creed Bois de Cedrat; Citrus Bigarrade;
Cooler summer days: Creed Zeste Mandarine Pamplemousse;
Leisure: Creed Cheverefeuille and Royal Delight, Lubin Neuve,
Summer evenings: SMN Melograno, Lubin L, Penhaligons Castille (more conservative);
Special Occasion evening: Creed Windsor;
Romantic evening: Jo Malone Red Roses;
All this is varied according to my mood and other spontaneous impulses. As I travel a lot to different climates, no seasonal rotation is ever completely mothballed.
post #24 of 43
Another Great one.

I've only really got ADG and Cool Water for summer, sampled the likes of GPHII and Versace PH and might end up buying 50ml bottles soon.
post #26 of 43
Though I am not that specific to wear only lighter, more casual, more aquatic, citrus-based etc. scents during summer, some of my staple fragrances from my wardrobe for summer wear are, usually: Kenzo pour Homme, L'Erbolario Neroli, Tesori d'Oriente Marrakesh Neroli & Cardamomo, Fahrenheit 32, Trussardi Jeans, some EDC from the Fraicheur Vegetale product line by Yves Rocher, Eau Sauvage (1966), Roberto Capucci pour Homme.

And I think I need to re-evaluate Live Jazz once it is a little warmer here, it has been a long time since I smelt it and my sense of smell has definitely become more "tuned" since then.
