Armani Eau de Nuit

I wore Armani Eau pour homme for years and years as I considered one of the most versatile fragrances of its time, also elegant and refined. Yesterday I tried Eau de Nuit and it has nothing in common whatsoever with its dignified predecessor. Eau de Nuit is VERY similar to Paul Smith Man and, of course, to Dior Homme. Leathery Iris with some amber, there is a sweet note similar to marzipan in the mix. The dry down is powdery ending in a generic cedar-woody agony.

They should have done something similar to Polo Modern Reserve a serious flanker for the legion of Armani Eau pour Homme.

Eager to test this too.

nowadays everything seems to be fruity (1 million) or Iris (Dior Homme). In this case the fragrance is not bad but why should you buy a fragrance that is pretty much copying other. Get the real deal which is better.

I just received a bottle from a good friend returning from Europe.

The bottle looks 'cheaper' with the addtion of the ribbed-metal bottom. Not a badly designed bottle but the orginal is still much more attractive.

The fragrance is another Code flanker in disguise. And any real connection to Dior Homme Intense is just an illusion.

Banal.
