Writing as a casual fragrance user, I think the fruity opening is fresh and inviting, and as the scent progresses, I want to sniff it even more. The projection is pretty wide for the first 30 to...
L 12 12 Noir smells fantastic. It's slightly sweet, yet fresh, and is suitable for all occasions. However, the longevity is pretty poor. If I spray this on my arm, it's undetectable within an hr or 2.

SotE: Guerlain Jicky EdT. It's one of the modern, almost civet-less formulations. Like watching a David Lean 70-mm masterpiece on a crappy VHS tape instead of on a big screen in a movie theater. This seemingly careless re-creation of a fine fragrance is better than just about any other modern scent. But you know you're missing a whole lot of the best parts, which makes it all quite frustrating.
