This is a surprising fragrance that has an initial attack similar to cedar (but cedar is not listed in the notes).
In the dry-down, It quickly changes to a slightly-powdery, sweet fragrance...
I bought this thinking that it was Versace Pour Homme, I should've remembered better but I didn't. I was bummed, but decided to try it anyways, and it was just so friggin' strong I couldn't...
This fragrance is currently my favorite and has been since I tried it. I'm actually very disappointed that summer is arriving because it doesn't smell like a summer scent so I won't be able to...
Play Red by Comme des Garcons (first time from a sample)
Cherry? I don't smell it. What I do smell is something mildly sweet and spicy. Weird (of course it is, it's a CdG) and not entirely sure how I feel about this yet. Indifferent, I suppose.
SotD: Creed Aventus. Performed beautifully all day long, for a busy day in the office.
SotE: Guerlain Jicky EdT. It's one of the modern, almost civet-less formulations. Like watching a David Lean 70-mm masterpiece on a crappy VHS tape instead of on a big screen in a movie theater. This seemingly careless re-creation of a fine fragrance is better than just about any other modern scent. But you know you're missing a whole lot of the best parts, which makes it all quite frustrating.
