La Fumee Arabie by Miller Harris - Worth it?

Guys, i've read limited reviews on basenotes and elsewhere and very little user opinion, you guys think its worth the dough? i really like the resinous feel of YSL M7 (Vintage) currently nothing comes close, though the note breakdown on La Fumee Arabie suggests that it might be close? even if its i'll still consider buying it if you guys think its worth it?

I would try to sample it first. Or maybe get in on a split before paying that much dough. Once you sample it, and depending on how you like it. Go for it bro!

I own neither but have sampled both.

I wan't convinced by La Fumee but am considering buying La Fumee Arabie. I probably would've already bought it if it wasn't in limited distribution and was easier to find.

Arabie is smoother, deeper, and more complex than La Fumee. While I like La Fumee, there just doesn't seem to be enough to it to gain my full enthusiasm.

There's a family resemblance between the two, but Arabie is different enough to warrant buying if you already own the regular La Fumee.

I didn't find Arabie to be much like M7. Arabie is drier and spicier, a different feel than M7.

They're very different. Just the addition of oud changes the whole aura of the perfume.

oh the trouble I had to go through to get the original... now I have to get this one too!

by the way, thanks Hedonist and noggs for the descriptions and thanks benzganesh for reminding me that this one has been released and is available already

After I smelled it on someone else, I ordered it instantly.
Can't wait for the bottle to arrive and wonder how it will be shipped,
with the new UK regulations.

one more question, does it have some of those nose piercing sharp notes that can be found in Ramon M. Dry wood? The "Norlimbanol" note?

Yesterday my impressive package from Miller Harris Arrived.
Since some of you were curious about the way it would look, I am posting a few pictures.
The well known illustration is also on this limited edition bottle, but now in gold what looks very attractive.

I am since a short time a member of this forum and in no way an expert like many of you,
so I refrain from giving my opinion, besides from the fact that it was exactly were I was looking for;
smoky, arabic, middle eastern.
I was hoping that Miller Harris would have added a sample of one of their other scents, in the box,
but not even a With Compliment card was inside.

I have Miller Harris Feuilles de Tabac and it is one awesome scent. Easily the best tobacco I have ever smelt.

thanks again to all who suggested this one. I finally got it and it smells wonderful and smoky, it even has that "bakhoor" smell that I like when burning Oud chips.
