I recently acquired a bottle of this in a large lot of fragrances. Considering the price and the many posts about Rochas Man, Legend, and New Haarlem, I'm surprised this one has gotten little attention. Here's my review:
This is not bad at all, but the opening is very strong and very sweet. I haven't tried Legend but I think it compares well to Rochas Man, at least in terms of "bang for the buck." I suggest spraying once to the chest while holding your breath, then going into another room to breathe in. If it's still too strong, you can try using a blow dryer on the area you sprayed (being careful not to burn your skin!). The drydown possesses much better balance and is certainly reasonably natural smelling considering the price. After several hours, little remains, actually. Not being a huge fan of this sort of thing, I'm not sure there is more I can say but if I study it more I'll update this review. I'm guessing that cotton club refers to the cotton candy type of quality in the opening.
