GDG Kyoto review

applied this around 6pm tonight after the gym. applied it to both wrists and to r sleeve.

for the first hour this smell exactly like frankincense/myrrh nice incense..i did not get any smoky vibe from this one...made me feel relaxed..after about an hour it abruptly changed to almost the exact drydown of cdg Hinoki(if i did not know any better i thought i was wearing hinoki)..right now i smell cedar, maybe some mild incense if i smell my wrist hard enough, but the cedar note seems to overpower everything else...i really enjoyed the first hour........it was kind of funny, when i first smelled this fragrance right after application i did not even notice the cedar as a singular note.

The opening for me is rough, but after that it's incense bliss. Try and keep it off your clothes because it will stay there forever. I debated over this and avington. Kyoto won out.

Neither do I. I also get more Japanese graveyard incense than Kyoto temple incense in this one. I love it, but don't get to wear it often for fear of negative scent associations some might get with it.

It smells like old wood that they used to build temples in Asia and a little of Western incense. Too subtle for my liking but this is as far as I can go with incense since I'm not really a fan of the note
