I'd like to add im looking for a cold weather scent, definitely wood, musk and amber (im not too keen on strong leathery notes). Possibilities now are Nasomatto's Duro or Aoud Musk. Need that longevity...

Nasomatto's Duro is very strong , one spray is good enough for a all day, two spray you are going to choke yourself..

Montale Dark Aoud is woody and striking and lasts forever. Gucci pour Homme (2003) is a classic wood and amber combination, with frankincense. And the left-field contender I'll offer is Bond No. 9 I Love NY for Marriage Equality, which offers a similar robust wood effect with a non-sweet amber behind it.

Also, if you're considering Encre Noir, it's worth checking out Chanel Sycomore, which is fantastic.
