Guerlain Djedi......... Eau De Toilette ??? !!!

A few years ago I was lucky enough to find a shop that had a 30ml Djedi Extrait. I was never aware that an edt existed for Djedi ~ I thought it was only produced as a pure perfume. In a thread I recently read, somebody mentions Djedi in edt format.
Can anyone verify this ? If so, does anyone know when they stopped production of Djedi as edt? ...and when was the extrait discontinued ?
Thanks for your help.

Hi David - I found an old thread from 2008 which says the Perfumed Court offered Djedi EDT for sale a few years ago.

I would imagine this was legit if the Perfumed Court sold it.

Just a FYI - the 'Vintage Apres l'Ondee Extrait' I bought from TPC a few years ago was anything but 'vintage' or Extrait

Oh dear - sorry to hear that - hope you were able to get a refund.

Thanks for your reply. I do wonder however, if because of its extreme rarity, TPC were offering it dilluted down with alcohol to an edt strength ~ to be able to offer it at a cheaper price ?
I have never heard of Djedi in edt......perhaps Guerlain experts can come to the rescue !

did Djedi eau de toilette/eau de parfum ever exist ???

Have you tried emailing Guerlain? I've never seen anything but the parfum come up on eBay.

I doubt TPC would go to such lengths as to dilute it! Like Renegade said, you'd probably be best off sending an email to Guerlain directly.

Thanks for your reply. Please do not misunderstand me here. I was meaning that perhaps with Djedi extrait being in very short supply, TPC may be offering it in diluted edt form, (obviously telling their customers in advance that it is in edt form) to let people get an impression of the fragrance.
Someone on basenotes mentioned that they purchased Djedi edt from TPC......this is why I started this thread. I was interested to find out more about Djedi eau de toilette.
So I am asking again, did it exist at one time ?

Well, in fact it did exist. It came up on eBay this weekend, then it was removed by the seller. So, there you go!

I had a decant someone sent me labeled Djedi edt, about 10-15 ml. I didn't care for it and passed it on...no idea if it was real or not. Best to contact Guerlain directly for accurate info.

perhaps Monsieur Guerlain can come to the rescue. I am sure he is better informed than any of the Guerlain staff !

I wonder if mummy powder would be allowed by IFRA today...

Just wondering what he means by "Mummy Powder"?

Also wondering about the major change in packaging, bottle and label designs...?
