Creed Royal Water Fake check please

Sorry guys, i know the Creed fake checks have been done to death, but this one i got today is unorthodox to me. My friend usually brings me my Creeds, and theres no question of their legitimacy, and there is very little disparity in the packaging etc.

But i wanted a bottle of Royal Water and had to fend for myself! So i purchased this off a site called Lilydirect. Slim info on their reputation, but i did ask a fellow basenoter, and he said theyre ok.

Theres no lot # on this bottle, and the sticker seems to have been removed on the box. Also whats with the arabic writing on the pamphlet?

And if memory serves me correctly, the bottle should be clear glass, not frosted?? Also, i dark juice, shouldnt that be clear, like water?

I would smell it to see if its ok, but i would rather not in case i have to return it.
Thanks guys, and my apologies.

Eesh, it might be legit grey/gray market, ...but it may be discolored/degenerated...

Perhaps try to get a refund.. have you sprayed it and smelled it?

Edit: Also, at least one of my Creeds has an Arabic or w/e thing, and it came from a considered reputable source.

Edit 2: I looked at my Creed boxes, none of them have the 90% alcohol thing on the back.
Maybe that's an older Creed that's turned?

Agree, that juice is really yellow. It is supposed to be colorless.

Hmmm, you guys think i should spray it so i can smell it? The most important thing to me would be if its legit juice that smells as it should.

I just googled and found some more pictures of bottles with yellow juice.

Anyone else have any comments?

If you are content with the smell and it's what you know it or suppose it be be, that's all that should matter, and not the color.

^^ I fully agree! The only thing I want to know is judging by my pictures, is the bottle authentic creed product? If it is, then I will take a risk ands spray it to see what it smells like

The bottle looks legit...but now on to the juice...I've only seen this in a clear colored juice. Maybe it was pre-formulation I don't know...It could also be because the bottle wasn't stored correctly...only way to tell is if you test it.

For me it wouldn't matter much how it smelled at that point -- Every time I would look at it I would always have it in my mind that it might be a fake - or is about to turn bad, etc.. That would drive me nuts. Piece of mind is worth paying a little (?) more and getting the real stuff from an approved seller. But that is just me.

Never seen Royal Water that looked like that. Does the seller have a return policy? If so, I would send it back.

I wouldn't have thought it worthwhile to counterfitters to fiddle with that particular scent owing to it not being a top seller.

Yeah you know what screw it. I'm sending it back. I don't even feel like messing with it or spraying it. It's got to be old as hell.

They have a 14 day return policy.

I'm no good at this eBay stuff :/

Does anyone know how the automated ebay return system goes? I just logged into my account and clicked return item. I then was able to select the reason, which i chose "defective". Then it took me to a page to print a pre paid shipping label. It says i need to return mail it back by the 19th. Then within 5 days i "should" receive a refund.

Is that all? It seems rather easy.

BTW, thank you all for the help, much appreciated!

Guys, that is a legit bottle of Royal Water. It's just an older bottle - Royal Water was repackaged a few years ago (I think the same time Creed stopped producing Millesime Imperial with the all gold bottle). I actually used to own one just like this and the color of the juice was the same. I'd guess it's at least 5-7 years old.

To be honest i wouldnt care how old it may or may not be.

RW is ment to be clear, not look like someone whos ills urine sample.

Yep thats 100% right. The newer bottles have a sticker on the front like MI and VIW (both 75ml and 120ml)

I'd imagine your bottle is some 6+ years old.

I think I would test it and if it smelled great, I would keep it. It may be better than the reform. If its off, I would explain that it was and return it.

Absolutely. I begin to think that we must pay the real price for higher niche stuff and buying designers from online retailers because designer perfumes are rarely a fake one.

I say spray and smell first. Lilydirect has a great return policy even on used products. Unfortunately I had to return GIT to them. I sprayed it..wasn't to my liking and sent it back...no questions asked.
Btw I do recall seeing and readimg somewhere that RW looked like this in the past. Just an older bottle. But if stored properly and with no air in it it may smell great

So did you return it?
