La Nuit de L'homme - signature scent

Thoughts? Wearing it during the day? I love this scent, but so many people say to only wear it during the night. I live near the beach so it never gets to hot the temperature is usually a cool 65-72 degrees. I would be wearing it to school. Thoughts?

Edit: I would get the original L'homme for a signature scent but it doesn't project and last on me.

I would wear this at any time of day.

Im sure that 95% of people that own this frag wear it anytime anywhere. Dont listen to people that tell you to limit when or where you wear anything. It would be perfect for a sig scent. Good for school, day, night, cold, hot.

Definitely can also be worn during daytime and also as a signature scent.

Can easily be worn during the day and would definitely make a great signature scent.

Day or night it don't matter. If you dig it, work it any way you want to man.

Can you guys see a high school student wearing this? I've only worn it on dates/dances. A lil afraid to try this in class.

Oh no doubt, people say this or Chanel Allure are "mature" scents. Whatever, they smell sweet, the common nose finds them sweet, warm. Young people love this stuff. My sister is 18 in high school, this is her favorite man's fragrance.

I would say so.

Agree; there are no rules. Wear what you want, when you want.

This is my signature scent, I wear it all year round. Just go easy on it in the summer, I've yet to find anyone who doesn't like the smell. It really is an excellent frag

Echoing the wear it when you want advice.
No no no no no!!!!!

Definitely do not wear this during the day. You are right to be afraid. Very afraid. Even though it may never get hot where you live, there are ingredients in this fragrance that are sensitive to solar exposure and may catch fire if you go out in the daytime wearing it. These chemicals are especially sensitive to teenage hormones and high school classrooms, and may even explode if exposed to algebra or geography classes.

Then again...some of us like to live dangerously...

I've worn this in the day. Actually, on an 80 degree day in summer.

I had no problems with it.

You can wear ANYTHING as your signature scent. Do as you please. As with anything, just be mindful of a fragrance's potential 'power' and adjust the sprays accordingly.

Gonna try it in summers here, goes upto 46 degrees Celsius during the day.

Exactly!!

I dislike the stuff, but if you like it wear it whenever and wherever you like.

I enjoy this any time of day. Just wear it lighter during the day and warmer months.

I can wear Kouros in the heat of a sunny day, why La Nuit can't?

"Best time to wear it: Night"
Notice how people will usually say "Best" not "only."
Ignore the "fragrance rules" (aside from over applying) and it'll make things easier.

I wouldn't wear anything when it's 46.

Im slowly making this my signature scent, or as close as I can get to a signature scent. I wear it all the time, day or night. From the office, to out at night, doesnt matter. Gotten many compliments on it. I do have the original L'Homme too but like you said it doesnt last as long as this one. I've actually layered the 2 a few times with nice results so maybe give that a try if you're feeling experimental.

No thanks Jeff. I would never wear this during the day. Even the word "La nuit" says its a night time fragrance.
The Night of the Man. Cmon theres much better fragrances out there for a signature scent and this would be my last choice.

First time I tried this scent I knew I hated it. Second time confirmed it, third time three monts later from and old sample in the bottom of a drawer; I decided to wear it to work...I loved it. Pure awesome all day long and couldnt get enough of it. I ordered a 3.3 and just got it in today. Proof enough for me that yet again, impressions and perception changes. I'll be wearing this anytime, day or night.

I wear la Nuit any time of the day or night. I have worn it to work, social events, going out at night. I get so many compliments wearing this great fragrance. Wear it always and enjoy.

Wear it whenever you want to wear it. And if you love it that much, buy the Le Parfum version. It's great stuff. Get it while it's still somewhat available. Seems like a great candidate for soon-to-be rare collectibility.

Oh man don't say that!

Wear what you want, when you want. Someone elses opinion does not matter.

That is if you like anise in your scents. I found Le Parfum quite a bit different than the original. It had only about 10% of what I like in the original La Nuit. I was hoping the Parfum would be just a deeper version of La Nuit with better longevity, but it's more its own scent. Sample first.

I used to go with Burberry London in those temperatures, worked just fine, maybe projected a bit more as to say, so I really want to try some other frags since I started my collection recently (though I'll not be trying M7 on even a mildly warm day).
it'd make a great signature scent but i personally wouldn't wear it when it's really hot outside (let's say about 30 Celsius degrees)
