SO I decied that there's no shame in trying designer fragrances too. I admit i am not excited about them now that i know what's OUT there but...easy access and I hope it will be a good way to exercise my nose

My list so far:

Dior Homme / homme intense / homme sport

YSL homme/ kouras

Channel Bleu/ Allure / Allure sport

Givenchy PI/ gentleman

Anything else worth trying?

DHI is an awesome fragrance for sure. I'd also include the Hermes line, especially TdH and Concentree Orange Verte.

EDIT: Oh, and if they have Burberry London, try that. InB4 hednic.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with designers. To add to your list, try Dior's Fahrenheit, Azzaro Pour Homme, Gucci PH I if they still have it. I really enjoy Burberry Brit for Women too so you could always give that a try. Have fun!

I actually own Burberry London. Bought it a few years ago and still half full, don't like it that much anymore though..

Will look out for everything you suggest!

Sephoras in the US are rather depressing. Sometimes in Europe there's a little bit more.

Off the top of my head, in the male section:
Bulgari Black, Mugler cologne, Lempicka au masculin, Guerlain Vetiver, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver.
In the female section: Flower by Kenzo, Fracas, Chanel No 19, Cristalle, Chanel no 19.

Are you in some way implying that designers are for inferior peasants and that your mighty standard commands niche fragrances only?

Today is Guerlain Vetiver. I really want to "get" this smell. I'll also try l'occitone vetyver. what else has a very strong vetiver smell? Christian dior eau savage I think..we don't have tom ford, but I heard grey vetiver is also amazing..other suggestions?
Of the 3 vetivers you mentioned I find Guerlain's the best but I still havened purchased it.
