My order of LIDGE from Guerlain Toronto

Thread Starter
So my order from Guerlain Toronto arrived already; roughly three business days later (I ordered midday Thursday of last week). I also placed an order with FragranceNet the same day, and that order just left the warehouse.

I highly recommend them for your Guerlain purchases. They didn't charge me tax or shipping.

I'd like to refer you to Baheireh (don't know how to pronounce) at (416) 929-6114. She was a pleasure to deal with and fulfilled my request for samples without flinching.

The total was $76.00 out the door for:

75mL BNIB LIDGE
(2) long tube samples of Tonka Imperiale

Enjoy your purchase!

Sweet. I just put my order in yesrterday with a lady named Jane. No tax or shipping but she charged me $85.80,weird how that worked out different?? When i asked for samples she said normally they send samples but they make their own and shes all out of sample atomizers. I live 45 minutes east of Toronto so im hoping i wont have to wait too long. I bought this blind in case any ones wondering lol due to all the positives on basenotes!

My first smell of LIDGE was pure bliss. Stuff is amazing..... I think it could be compared to DHI, but the scents are different of course.

You got a great deal. I've been looking around for LIDGE but have yet to sample it and wasn't at all keen on making an expensive purchase as a blind buy. But for $76 (if I could get that price as well) I might place an order.

You've got a great frag there, enjoy!

For those of us in the US this is the best source. No waiting and no problems ever. You get the freshest products at a non-gouging price. No need to wait for strawberry net or others to get it in stock. The source is Guerlain. Go for it if you want it. This is your best source!

How did you send the payment? you gave your credit card number or what?
I just got LIDGE in like a week ago or something from a Guerlain boutique, maybe the same one. $76.11 USD total?

Habit Rouge and Habit Rouge Sport samples were included, and w/e else non-frag stuff.

I gave info via Phone. And the name was wrong on the package?

I ordered Guerlain from Vegas and it took a week both times to arrive.

How much did you end up paying (if it isn't a secret)?

That would depend on the fragrance. I'd have to check but I think Guerlain Homme Intense was around $80.

Sorry, I thought you meant you ordered LIDGE from them, so I was wondering how much that might have cost you.

Amazing scent. Worth every penny you paid.

Glad to hear you had a good experience. Even though they get the order out promptly, I've had one of my bottles take 2 weeks to get to me, no fault of theirs though.

Thats bcoz u live in cda and u'll be taxed, international shipments from Cda to Us or from US to Cda are charged no tax. however, we, being in Cda will be hit on both ends - taxes if u buy from within Cda or customs duty if u dare take a chance to import. My only non issue import are from Fragrancenet.com (shipping added, but grt service from my exp) and luckyscent (they charge extra to cover duty)

Great buy. Thanks for passing along the info.

Valerie @ Guerlain Toronto Boutique is grt to deal with - I normally order thru the phone and give my credit card #, haven't had any issues even once; as a bonus, she always throws in a few extra samples. Recently ordered the 30 yrs Jicky extrait. Shipping is free (not sure if its the case for shipping outside Canada)
As FYI, this location & their warehouse / distribution ctr does carry the expensive collector items - some running into 50000+

Cuko, 76+tax is 85.8 - Canadians get hit on both ends, if u order from within country, there's a 13% tax; if u order from outside Cda, chances of getting the perfums delivered are 50%, bcoz Customs / Border Services can confiscate and destroy the package as its "dangerous" - if it does get shipped to you, then there's the dreaded customs duty (comes to around 18%).
The only times that I don't have issues are when I order thru Fragrancenet.com or I order Frderic Malle's parfums from Paris (I order thru the phone) - both these get shipped with no issue and no extra taxes (Malle ships free). Malle's SA's are grt, they add the value of the parfum as 20Euro each, so customs doesn't bother...

I just took the plunge. Placed my order at lunch time. Total of $76. I sold off a few bottles I wasn't crazy about to fund this, so it did not hurt too bad! Beats ebay prices, that's for sure!

Good to hear, did you ask for free samples?

Nah, her English was sketchy and I thought I might be pushing my luck! She was very nice though, and she even mentioned that fact that I did not have to pay tax.
Awesome! Thanks for the info OP. I've been looking everywhere.
I would probably ask for the new Les Deserts D'Orient series for my free samples. I cant wait to try those.
Congrats for your purchases and thanks for the tip - they seem to belong to the rather considerate, knowledgeable, respectful and overall customer friendly Guerlain retailers.

I used Guerlain Las Vegas (not for LIDGE but for Cuir Beluga). Nice on phone, quick service, no shipping, no tax. As good as it gets!

I always use Valerie , the other lady Bahari has very poor English , , she messed up 2 of my orders, but luckily Valerie resent them to me free of charge. The Dior Boutique in Vegas for me has the best service, Heperd suggested Massiel and she is just wonderful! Within 10 minutes I had a confirmation email and within 2 days I had my order ( with tonnes of samples)!

Finally got it yesterday. Took longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. Smellin' great on a casual Friday.
