Which one do you like more, Guerlain Homme Intense or Frederic Malle's French Lover?

Both are fresh, quite greenish, versatile and sophisticated scents. Although there are clear differences between them, I find them to be in the same boat. Which one you prefer?

Same. Would never think of Vs'ing them though.

Chocolate gourmand vs Chypre incense

I had to name a similairity, they both have a warm ambery feeling at the drydown.

I wouldn't describe either as "chocolate gourmand". I think you may be confusing Guerlain Homme Intense with L'instant Extreme.

French Lover over Guerlain Homme Intense (might be interesting if French Lover is pitted against the vintage Guerlain's - I think Guerlain might get polled more in such a case...)

I went with GHI. These 2 seem nothing alike IMO, and see no reason why you wouldn't add both to
your collection if you like them both. I own GHI, and plan on adding Bois d'Orage (French Lover to those outside the US) to my collection very soon.

Thank you all for your opinions! Quite equal I would say. I guess it depends more about personal taste and personal experiences which one you like more.

Some another opinions or way to see Guerlain Homme Intense and French Lover/Bois D'orage?
