Black afgano initial review

Ok, so today is another sample day for me...I got my black afgano 1 ml in the mail. I'm excited about this one. Here's my initial review on black afgano...this is what I smell...

Dark
Damp wet wood
Japanese incense
Spicy
Oud
Smokey (marijuana)
Leather
Animalic
Sweet amber

Black afgano smells kind of like an oud Mukhallat sample that I got from agar aura call soryo no kaori... but sweeter...I really like black afgano, and will purchase a bottle....

My initial grade for black afgano is a perfect 10/10

Why do I give it a perfect 10? Just look at all the description of this fragrance above...

I agree. I bought a bottle aftdr smelling it too. Had to wait a couple of months for it to come back into stock. Well worth the wait.

I really like this frag. But I do think it's severely over hyped and over priced.
I get a nice dark sweet incense, and then after about an hour I can smell the hash. Yes it's long lasting, but I still dont think it's worth $200 for 30ML.

I got my bottle in a swap.

I get a slight cannabis aroma at the start and that hash resin aroma as well. The oud gives the fragrance a nice freshness but this is a very stinky frag though interesting as it's unusual. I have to admit it's a bit to exotic for my taste but it's good that you have found a frag worthy of a perfect 10.

I personally would reverse the digits of your score out of 10. Different strokes...

I get a smoky oud and vetiver smell. I was pretty disappointed when I first tried it, it is not the challenging powerhouse that I was lead to believe.

Now it has been a few hours since I applied black afgano on...now I'm getting a dirty scent..... when I say dirty, I mean smell like when you're doing the wild thing you know....bodies rubbing against each other and you get that sweaty body odor...but still all the other notes are still there entertaining.... there's something addicting about this fragrance?

Is the animalic note you detect in this juice similar to that found in Oud 27?
