GIT...but sweeter and less 'cologney'

I am looking for something similar to GIT, but without that 'cologne' note that I am starting to get from it. I don't know how else to describe it other than 'stale' and synthetic. It reminds me of that generic note that several designer fragrances have after they've been sitting on your skin well into the drydown. I think my smell has changed or I am just getting tired of GIT- I have tried different batches and it seems the same.

I'm looking for something similar to GIT but sweeter, less mossy, yet still slightly green/violet leafy (not too floral nor powdery, please). I was thinking Chez Bond? I had a sample, but gave it away after thinking my heart was set on GIT, but now I am thinking about trying it again. Any other ideas?

Thanks

I'd try Creed's Green Valley.

Try Millesime Imperial or Silver Mountain Water. Neither are "sweet" as you say but they are definitely fruity and fresh, especially the former.

I would suggest also Selection Verte if you can find any... Very fresh and "green", slightly sweet "mint".

Maybe Bond No. 9 Bleecker Street or, yes, Cool Water.

Creed Original Vetiver.

Definitely Chez Bond. Similar to GIT, but with a smoother, sweeter, more modern drydown.

I wore Chez Bond yesterday and it did nothing for me. I prefer GIT, but I must admit I have grown a little tired of it. It's been my fave for the last 15 years, so maybe that's natural. Maybe these types of scents have worn out their welcome with me.

Chez Bond smells great on my 17 year old son, as does Fire Island.

I agree. That's a sweeter take on it.

Try Aspen by Coty - it can be bought incredibly cheaply and holds its own quite well next to the likes of GIT.
