of all the fragrances you tried

if you had to estimate
what percentage have you loved, liked, felt indifferent on, disliked, and hated.

With me, probably:

5% Love
20% Like
60% Nuetral
10% Dislike
5% Hated

To me, there aren't that many that I really have negative feelings toward, and at the same time I'm very discriminate about which ones I absolutely love. Most fragrances, I appreciate, but they don't really don't affect the way I feel. Only few very evoke extreme emotions either way.

Perhaps, this is why fragrance is such a PERSONAL journey.

Love: 10%
Like: 25%
Neutral: 35%
Dislike: 25%
Hate: 5%

There's definitely not too many that I hate (especially if I don't include the Montale Aouds...which I really hate). I can remember most of them off hand.

I have liked 100% of mine (1,414), otherwise they wouldn't be in my collection.

I'd say I'd come pretty close to you. Almost a perfect bell curve.

The 150 odd that I have were all tested b4 buying FB - so 100% LOVE...

Only exception was the 1 blind buy that I did - Montale's Cuir de Arabie - when I tried this from the FB I had bought, 1 spray on my wrist and I wanted to strech my hands to keep my wrist as far away from my nose as possible - have many other leathers & dark parfums, none of which challenged me as Cuir de Arabie. I scrubbed abt 4 times with the strongest scented soaps to take it off my skin after abt 5hrs...This parfum is however, highly rated on BN and other forums.

Yet to find courage to re-test this...

Well, the op asked for a percentage of liked, disliked etc. among all those that we've tried. Of course, my entire collection I like, but that wasn't the question. So here is my breakdown:
loved 10%
liked 25%
neutral 30%
disliked 25%
hated 10%

15% Love
45% Like
20% Neutral
15% Dislike
5% Hated

what about the ones you sampled, that didn't make the collection

If I had to peg numbers to it, I guess I would say:

20% Love
40% Like
10% Neutral
20% Dislike
10% Hated
I end up loving a lot of the fragrances I try, and thus want them in my collection. Then, there are plenty that I like, and may or may not fit in my collection. The rest I generally dislike and rarely (but it does happen) hate.

5% Love (omg must wear more!)
60% Like (nice scent, but probably won't ever buy it)
30% Neutral (meh, it's a smell)
5% Dislike (omg never want it again)

I don't actually distinguish between Hate/Dislike. To me, neither are going to be worn/purchased.

What?

You've loved every fragrance you've ever tried and have bought bottles of all of them?
That's interesting.
Mine would be more like
10% Love
20% Like
50% Neutral
25% Dislike
5% Hated
For every 10 samples I tried, I'd acquire 3 full bottles.
Loved 5-10%
Liked 60-70%
Neutral 10%
Disliked 5%
Hated 5%

Anyway, the overwhelming majority is of love, like and, at wort, neutral reactions, otherwise, I'd hardly would have put together even the comparatively modest collection I currently have.

I think the loved and liked categories represent the same percentages for me as well with slight differences on the other figures.
