All three are designers, budget-friendly, powdery vanilla/tonka fragrances. All three have sharper openings that smooth out during drydown. So a comparison would be interesting.

I myself have a hard time deciding which of these bottles I own that I like better.

MiP

Im awaiting MiP, and I am extremely excited for it. But from those that I have already tried, I choose the Dreamer over Body Kouros. I did not get any vanilla in BK, and couldn't get past the eucalyptus. Dreamer has been one of my favorites, it is a very nice powdery fragrance.

I only have Midnight in Paris and The Dreamer and, by sheer coincidence, I'm wearing both now (sprayed some MiP this morning and can still smell it on my forearm). Between the two, MiP wins, a pleasing scent that seems to just pull you in.

Funny, if this poll were a year ago. The Dreamer would have won.

I think Dreamer is long past it's hype (when Tim made a review of it and talked about someone else's girlfriend telling him that she wanted to buy what he was wearing for her boyfriend).

Midnight In Paris, in spring of 2012 was very exclusive. Once me and a few other people started wearing it, the hype grew and now this is next on the ferris wheel.

Oh so you're the one responsible for all the MIP hype? Thanks a lot ND!

MIP by a couple laps.

Midnight In Paris (EDP)

Haven't tried Body Kouros, but between the other two, I go with MiP

Body kouros. I find MIP very nice but too feminine. The dreamer is just horrible for me.

Interestingly, I can't find any eucalyptus in Body Kouros.

MiP EDP is the best in term of complexity and overall smell

Out of these three, The Dreamer is my clear favorite.

Body Kouros for me, I find MiP to be a truly terrible scent and incredibly cliche.

Easy one for me, The Dreamer by a mile. I would choose Body Kouros next. I'm not really a fan of MIP as the leather note is annoying and cloying to my nose.

Agreed. I have tried this twice while visiting a Niemans by me. Both times I just thought....sweet...I mean that was it. It was earth shattering or anything special. A sweet like fragrance.

Yea mip is not earth shattering. But those don't come around often for me.

The dreamer opening give a me the shakes... Do not blind buy, I usually am for blind buys in general for the thrill unless its a scent that has the risk of making people physically ill. Those love or hate fragrances like the dreamer, Fahrenheit, Azzaro pour homme, should not be blind bought.

Mip, is a good blind buy, and a safe scent. It's not overpowering, it's likable. People will not like it because its too powdery, or too feminine, or too bland. But none of those qualities has made anyone sick or ill from smelling the scent. That's what makes a scent safe to blind buy, IMO.

I personally think mip is a good scent for the occasions it is meant for. Which is somewhat classy events, or when someone is dressed up in at least a blazer or sportscoat. It's the perfect metrosexual scent that is not assuming and doesn't try to stand out. It's not loud or in your face, but very secure and masculine because of it. I like its character and it does what the fragrance is intended to do.

The dreamer is risky... I actually just got it today so I need a few full wearings but the opening is the second ever opening where my stomach turns when I smell it and actually get a little sick from it. The other being Azzaro pour homme. I don't like Dior Fahrenheit opening either but it doesn't make me quite as sick as the dreamer and Azzaro ph.

Anyways, having not tried bk, my vote easily goes to mip.

MiP only for winter. Dreamer for warmer seasons.

Wow, can't believe I missed this poll back in Feb. It's a rarity that I've tried all frags in a BN poll.

Body Kouros is easily my favourite. It has the incense mixing with the benzoin creating a wonderful burnt toffee accord, which is prevented from becoming a sticky mess by the eucalyptus in there.

MiP isn't too far behind, but Dreamer is so far back it can't see the others; its drydown is rather pleasant but the first hour is insipid.
