Fragrances for men similar to Aventus? But cheaper?

Hi, I'm 18 and I really like fresh scents such as Creed Aventus Pineapple batch, Green Irish Tweed, and Millesime Imperial. Aventus being hands down the favorite one. I would like some recommendations for CHEAPER (I am only 18), but somewhat similar fragrances that I might enjoy. Please don't just assume that I enjoy all summer fragrances, because I hate Chrome Azzaro, Lacoste Essential, Versace Man Eau Fraiche. Thanks!

Before someone says Fresco, Fresco is nowhere near the level of Aventus. Nothing is.

Check out Ananas Fizz. Not the same but might have that Aventus "vibe".

Fresco by Ilum Dean.

Ah, I'd like to know the longevity and the presentation of it, haha.

I wore Aventus once and someone asked if I was wearing Chanel. I'm assuming they were thinking about Bleu de Chanel, which I've heard shares some resemblance to Aventus.

Do a search here and on youtube. It's pretty controversial coz of the Creed fan boys

Fresco has poor projection, longevity, it's two-dimensional, and its missing many of the quality base ingredients like birch, vanilla and ambergris that really just put aventus on a whole different level.

Cool Water is a clone of GIT, but it's still good in its own right.
Fresco, is not like Cool Water in that sense.

Is it delusional to hope for conspiracies, cover ups and equally entertaining things to surface in this thread again?

thanks, checked youtube, most people were saying that projection and longevity of fresco is poor. Which is what's keeping em from buying it . I have cool water, like it too! looking for more colognes with good longevity and projection though that are similar to the creeds I have listed haha

Fresco is a super-watered down, synthetic, and linear version of Aventus. They share some similarities, but the truth is you get what you pay for.

If you absolutely love Aventus, nothing will replicate it perfectly.
If you like that pineapple-smoke smell to some degree, than Fresco may just work for you.

If you want Aventus then just save and buy Aventus. Looking for similar fragrances is futile if you won't accept some differences or shortcomings. It is what it is...

I agree with Granola.

Every single time there's been a fragrance hyped to be a cheaper clone, it has been a huge disappointment for me.
I have both of these fragrances. Fresco is close to be honest with you. Some people spend a ton of money on a Creed bottle and so of course they are going to look for differences or say Fresco isn't close to defend their purchase. Other than fragheads picking out individual notes, people won't be able to tell much of a difference if any at all.

Think it about bro. When is the last time you smelled someone and thought, "Wow, that cologne is so linear, it must be cheap and they must be a slob. Jeez, they smell so synthetic." Probably never unless you're a cologne snob. Same here and with 99.999% of the population.

Creed isn't worth the money. Don't get caught up in it just because other people talk about how great it is to defend their purchase.

Just get Aventus on a split. That's your cheapest solution.

Fresco is the closest fragrance other than Aventus that smells like Aventus. I personally enjoy wearing it, but I also have enough common sense to realize that it isn't going to replace my bottle of Aventus. If you go into it realizing this then it's a pretty damn good copy. Not perfect by any means, but more similar than anything on the market regardless.

I'm not looking for a REPLICA of aventus, but rather similar VIBE as any of the three creeds I have listed above. The key here is VIBE, meaning it doesn't necessarily need the pineapple and french apple notes, thanks for all the suggestions though guys!

Another +1 for Fresco, which I actually prefer over Aventus, though I would never buy either. If you like Aventus though, it is definitely what you are looking for.

I have a bottle of Fresco. In my very inexperienced opinion and for what it's worth, relative to the other stuff I have, the projection is, well, not so good, and the longevity is even worse. I don't anticipate wearing it again. Ever. All that said, I have never tried Aventus so I cannot compare the two so perhaps my comments are not worth much. But in my view, I would have been much better off taking the small amount I paid for it and putting it towards something I will wear. In the short time I have been back into this, I have learned this is not a numbers game. Quality way before quantity. X1000. Fresco was a mistake for me but at least at $35, it was a cheap lesson to learn.

Fresco....There I said it!

Canali summer night.

I have both, canali being much cheaper. Lasted 8+ hr's on my skin. While summer night is similar aventus dry down is epic and progressive while SN is more smooth. You can get a 50ml of aventus split for around $70 vs $30 for the canali

Original Santal= Individuel by Mont Blanc virtually indistinguishable to the untrained nose.
GIT= Cool Water

That's about it for good Creed clones the rest aren't very similar.

I agree with the ones that say Fresco is very similar to Aventus. The smell is pretty close, but it does lack in projection, longevity and overall quality. There is no reason to own both.

Ed Hardy Love and Luck and Sean John Unforgivable have a similar vibe as Millesime Imperial. I own MI and Unforgivable. They are definitely different, but are similar. I think L&L is closer to MI than Unforgivable.
