18 Fragrnces Shootout!

Thread Starter
Hi all,
I tested 18 different fragrances -all regularly on sales- to verify the LONGEVITY on paper (mouillettes).
This is not an absolute proof of quality, but only a pragmatic essay for fragrances.
Keep in mind the longevity on skin is VERY different from longevity on paper... and longevity is only one of the different aspects in perfume quality.
Longevity is tested simply by smelling papers.

Here are the CONTENDERS

FerreForMen (transparent glass bottle)
Nuit de l’Homme by Saint Laurent
Antonio Fusco by Antonio Fusco
Piazza di Spagna by Roccobarocco
Cesare Paciotti for Him, by Cesare Paciotti
Paco Rabanne (small PR logo)
Hypnose by Lancome
Oxygene by Lanvin
Eternity by Calvin Klein
Arrogance pour Homme, by Arrogance (black box)
Van Cleef et Arpels pour Homme
L’Atelier pour Homme, by Roberto Capucci
Cool Water by Davidoff
Fred Mello, by Fred Mello
Eau de Rochas Homme, by Rochas
XS by Paco Rabanne,
Lancetti Homme, by Lancetti
Valentino pour Homme, by Valentino

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with most of those scents.
On my skin Paco Rabanne lasts as long as Eternity and XS, I guess it's different on paper.

Interesting results.

Did you ask anyone else to smell them as well, in case there were individual factors influencing the result?

Hypnose is a good one.
