Le Male, La Nuit, or London?

I'm 19 years old and new to the community and have decided to buy one of the three fragrances above but am indecisive as to which one I should go with.

I really like the dry down and projection of Le Male but the opening of La Nuit. I don't own a lot of fragrances and would like to buy one that would be a good investment for the money.

If you guys would like to shoot me another suggestion, please feel free to do so, thanks.

All three are very good fragrance, around the same quality.

La Nuit is more versatile, classier and less common for people your age.

Of the three, London is probably the weakest link.

Personally, of the three, I like and wear Le Male the most.

x2. This is my experience as well. There will be lots of London lovers and Le Male/La Nuit haters who will take issue though.

I think all three are solid choices. I have them all and like them all.

London doesn't last long at all (for me and most others), and everybody + their brother has Le Male.

I vote La Nuit. Lasts 8-10 hours for me and it's hard for people to dislike it.

Le Male, it's popular for a reason, most people who dislike it are only disliking it because of how popular and used it is, I have all three of the listed and if I had to choose one it would be Le Male with La Nuit a very close second.

La Nuit >> Sexy and simple. I prefer Burberry Brit over London though.

For your age group, Le Male would probably work best. But you wouldn't be going wrong if you decided to go with La Nuit. Try Armani Code as well.

If I had to choose one it would be London (with La Nuit close second). London doesn't last long, 4-5h for me.

This is a good break down of the three.

I love Le Male and wear it often. Nuit is okay. London is something I rarely wear.

Keep in mind that the opening of any fragrance can last 5 minutes to half an hour, but the dry down can last 6+ hours. What you like about Nuit doesn't last as long as what you like about Le Male.

You can get samples of all three of these at Nordstrom. Wear them all and then pick which one fits your skin and personality the best.

I think London smells the best, but the longevity would probably put it a little below the others for a daily scent.

For a work scent, I'd probably go with La Nuit. I think if it was just a party/dinner or something, I'd go with London.

London has the best smell hands down . I just wore it today , wonderful scent . I personally am ok with it's longevity , I get 5-6h which is enough for me .

About La Nuit , I still have to try this a couple of times to decide if I like it or not . For now this is my least favorite of the three .

I haven't tried Le Male in the last years , heard they reformulated it and many guys are disappointed with the result , but I find myself liking the Le Male Terrible . Monster longevity and projection with this one , very sexy and provocative .

Also if you like London and La Nuit but can't decide which one to get , try CK One Shock - imo it's a mix of the aforementioned.

Overall : London > Le Male > La Nuit .

I strongly dislike two of your listed three, so London is the only one I can recommend (though it is not the most versatile of scents). Something like Terre d'Hermes would be a good all-around choice to additionally check out if you haven't already.

+1. At 19, London probably isn't your best bet. Go for Le Male. The reverse is true if you are 49. imho.

La Nuit.. best purchase I've ever made.. I'm 17 and get compliments non stop from both genders. Goes well in any season. I prefer fall because of it's spice.

I love London, but I could only wear it for 3-4 months of the year. For that reason, I'd vote for la nuit.

All three are good. From my own personal experience with these 3 fragrances I can say most girls like le male, but most have also smelled it before, so your not going to wow, but its a good one for your age no doubt. London is one of my favorites, but Im not 100% on it at your age. Im 23, and often get compliments from older women with london, and its just a good feeling smell. La nuit never got me a compliment, but somehow always gets me a sleepover. Id say match it to your personality, -and many people disagree with this- but if your the playboy of the group go le male, if your the complex guy go london if your a charmer/romancer go la nuit. Or play the whole field. I would highly recommend getting all 3 in time

You are getting alot of different opinions. London is great, but not really a summer fragrance. Also, if you smell alot of friends wearing Le Male, you may not want to smell like "everyone else" Welcome to Basenotes!

If it were me, I would choose Le Male. I think the better choice for you would be La Nuit. Both smell good though.
