Imagine a situation:
you are in the middle of a crowd, it´s an hot day, the sun is in the middle of the sky, there isnt no cloud, the skin are clingy, people feel unconfortable and sweaty.Then a man walks through the crowd and an amazing scent of cleaness and soapy freshness ,as if the guy have taken a bath seconds ago ,takes place; and because of the great sillage the smell makes people follow the scent as a scape to the bad feeling of mess.

what cologn is this?

My favorite hot sticky weather scents are vetivers too. $$$ Vetiver extraordinaire is the freshest, $$ Sicomore more complex but still very fresh.

The cleanest, soapiest fragrance I've ever tried is Prada's Infusion d'Homme, so I'll say that.

I prefer Mugler Cologne for my 'clean' fragrance, but don't really see it as soapy.

Both have good sillage, although Cologne's is better.

no one is going to believe me, but this actual happened to me at the ACL Music Festival. i asked the guy what he was wearing and he said it was Pure Grace by Philosophy moisturizer. i was kind of baffled bc a female coworker of mine uses it too and it smells completely feminine and cloying on her, but on him and his chemistry ... well i just wanted to keep following him around.

I'll add Versace's The Dreamer to this list as well. Although it is categorized as an Oriental and has some sweetness, I get much more of the clean linen type vibe from it in the mid & drydown.

For that clean sweet, just~got~out~of~the~bath feeling I would suggest the following

Etiquette Bleue
Lacoste (the classic in the white and green bottle)
Booster (very fresh and natural with eucalyptus)
Jil Sander Bath and Beauty (it's the name of the fragrance)
Boss no1 (very soapy fresh feel when used sparingly)
