Creed Aventus Question

Thread Starter
Hello,
I am new to basenotes so im sorry if there is a thread on this before.
I purchased Creed Aventus 4oz from ljshopping.net because they had an unbelievable deal for $150 shipped
The Box and the Bottle all look legit to me Batch No A42B12E01 except that my bottle has creed written in black on the bottle instead of clear and the insert with the writing is written only in arabic not in multiple languages like my GIT or MI bottle inserts? I inserted a few pics and if anyone can give me any suggestions or let me know if its legit or fake that will be greatly appreciated! Pictures: http://s1353.beta.photobucket.com/user/southbk/library/
Thanks Again

Wow those idiots sold you a fortune!!!

A42B12E01 is specially made for the king of Bahrain and is worth $12000
they only made 5 bottles of those. 3 were given to the king. 2 were lost

It's real...And if you want to get off on the right step on Basenotes, you will let this be your last question about Aventus. Enjoy and Welcome!

Arabic bottles are mostly from grey market if I'm not wrong, that is why you got a good deal, people get niche and some designer frags for half the price, like Creed, Bond, Tom Ford they cost me around 100-110$ (planning to fall victim to Aventus due to that reasonable price)

I just received this version from Fragrancenet. I bought it as a backup bottle to my current bottle (don't have the LOT #). Mine has the black Creed lettering and the arabic pamphlet as well.

My initial thoughts? Not happy but will give this a chance. Initial top notes are heavily smoky and ashy. Not smelling a lot of the pineapple and blackcurrent that I am used to with my other bottle. Miss the freshness that my other bottle had on initial spray. Have yet to test longevity and true drydown.

Wondering if anyone else has purchased from Fragrancet and received this version recently?

I believe it's legit, but it's a bad batch and a bad bottle. Not sure if anyone else has picked up a bottle of Aventus from Fragrancenet and got the same batch/type I got but compared to the bottle I bought at Holt Renfrew last year (in Canada) this bottle is bad.

At least I know the difference. I wonder about guys who buy Aventus for the first time after hearing all the hype and get stuck with what I received.

I never believed that the batch variances were this big but when I compared the scents from my two bottles, there is a huge difference.

I purchased from Fragrancenet a few months ago and I haven't given it enough wearings to give it a full opinion. When I spray it on myself and smell it directly out of the bottle, I get a very smoky scent, almost off putting. I was really hoping for a fruity pineapple note with a subtle undertone of smokiness. When my uncle tried some on himself, I didn't smell the intense smoky scent as much, it seemed more balanced, but still not getting the pineapple note that I was craving. Mine is the E01 batch. Everyone is saying its a good batch, but I'm still not sure yet. WHY CANT THEY ALL BE THE SAME!!!! UGHH!!!

I got this same batch from fragrancenet and it is equally balanced and while it does not project as much as other batches i have sampled, it gets to the 7 to 8 hour mark easily
